The day the NLC decided to go full blown politic is the day they destroy their legitimacy.
I don't think I have seen any NLC president public come out to campaign for or support any party.

Why? Because the NLC is made up of members with different political affiliations. All workers in Nigeria do not automatically support the Labour party so the leadership is supposed to play neutral.

Secondly, they are expected to negotiate with whichever party is in power and it might not be the LP. They need legitimacy and standing to represent the workers without the risk of being regarded as saboteurs - by the government and the public at large.

This NLC has messed up in these regard.

The Judiciary dn finally join politics...

Politicians are now above the Law and untouchable.
Just like how NLC also joined politics and raising the hands of a certain presidential aspirants during the general elections.

As it is now, no union can go on strike. The right to strike is gone. Since ngige with his five rings on five fingers established comradeship with the court to stop ASUU strike & we all applauded him, that'll be the template for all unions going forward. ASUU is an affiliate of NLC & yet NLC did nothing then to protest the ridiculous govt actions. I do have reservations with ajaero's approach and obvious election interference, but bastardising courts is a legacy of ngige & his presumed boss, buhari.

It's up to NLC and TUC to choose weather to Obey the court order or go on with their strike.

But there will be no one to save the judiciary...
By the grace of God Almighty. But may I ask what the Court will do if the strikes goes on? Supposing (God forbid) Joe Ajairo was killed, can the court wake him up? Where was the so called court when people are being oppressed if I may ask? Anyway no prob. I rest my case.

The government will always argue that the strike would not be in the nation's interest. So the NLC should counter with legitimate reason allowed by law why they should have the strike.

If you want a nation governed by the rule of law, then every institution, not just the government must be ready to submit themselves to it.

Our idea of justice is that its a weapon to use to punish people or defeat ideas we don't like, forgetting that it goes both ways. Some people don't like you too and your ideas just like you don't like them and theirs too. So what do you expect the courts to do when you both go before it?

When are we going to see judges rebuke and impose heavy fines on these individuals working for the government coming to procure black market court orders stopping a legitimate strike action.

Court gave order to release Nmadi kanu as well as Godwin emifele, but they refused.

Who is the criminal here that use to disobey court order?
