Whatever Catholic Church is, it is not a church based on the Bible.

Just take note of what the Pope has been doing:

On Thursday, the Vatican announced that transgender people can be baptised in the Catholic Church, as long as doing so does not cause scandal or "confusion".
In October, he suggested that the Church would be open to bless same-sex couples, as he told a group of cardinals "we cannot be judges who only deny, reject and exclude".
Speaking at a meeting at the World Youth Day celebrations in Lisbon the Pope said the backwardness of some people was "useless".
Re: Catholic Church by immortalcrown(m): 10:20am On Nov 12, 2023
If the Pope directs the Church to excommunicate those transgender people, you will accuse the same Pope of assuming the position of God and punishing sinners.

Now that the Pope has directed the Church to be open to everybody and let the punishment of sinners be handled by God, you are condemning the Pope for not acting as God to send some people out of the Church.

The duty of the Church is to tell you what is right and what is wrong. It is not the Church that will reward you for doing good, neither is the Church that will punish you for being a sinner. So why should the Pope deny transgender people the Holy baptism? The Pope is not the owner of the baptism. Therefore, the Pope is not supposed to deny some people the baptism that is of God.

I love the Catholic church but if would be more vocal in condemning priests who sexually molest young children, I might consider coming back.

The progressive stance (while awesome) makes no meaning to me if they still shield sexual abuse by some of their “anointed” men of God. They should be publicly excommunicated.

The duty of the church is to stick to the Bible and not add to it or remove from it. It’s duty is not to fall short of Bible standards or go beyond it.
It is the Bible standard that everybody with different spiritual state like a sick person should come get remedies for their maladies. But then it isn’t Bible standard to baptize a gay person. Baptism is a public demonstration that someone that was once in sin have been redeemed. It’s like when somebody that has been sick is called in by a doctor and given a document signifying that he has been healed. Baptizing somebody in a gay union is telling everybody that this other wise spiritually sick person is redeemed though the fact is that he s publicly still in his sins.
Furthermore, Bible standard is that marriage is a union between a man and a woman. If Catholic is planning for when same sex people can then be married in the church, that is it going way beyond the Bible and as the biggest church actually fighting the traditional Christian values

The Bible standard for baptism is that whoever proves to understand the implication of baptism and asks to be baptized should be baptized by a leader trained to baptize people. Is there any Bible standard that says you yourself should confirm the holiness or the sincerity of the person before baptizing the person?

Baptism in the whole of the Bible happens after somebody have converted. It’s a public demonstration of the conversion.
The eunuch after reading Isaiah and been helped by Phillip asked to be baptized as a sign of conversation from the then traditional Judaism into the way of the apostles. This are what obtains in the Bible.
Still, I hope you have seen from that my argument the church’s duty? The then first century church excommunicated. It warned very sternly against these very things the Roman catholism is embracing. God forbid, you will now be hearing Gods name and authority being used to tie together a man and a man.
Can you just try to disabuse your mind from sentiments? Can u manage to step out of the church and look at it from outside? I myself left the church I grew up in and invested much into. And it’s actually one of the churches people feel still conform to the Bible. It’s never too late.
Interestingly, there are still churches that are very much trying to adhere to the very letters of the Bible and they are flourishing.
Politics, power and money happened to Roman Catholic

You have not answered my question. Is there a biblical instruction that says you should confirm that someone is righteous before you baptize the person? In other words, is there a biblical instruction for you to confirm the righteousness of a person before allowing the person to step into a church building?

First you have not admitted those ones I have answered. You first inferred that the church do not have some roles. That is where we started from. And I have been able to show you the roles the church has, that it welcomes all, but then the church will not marry a man and a man or baptize somebody that is evidently into gay relationships.
This last point in a way answers this your other question. In the New Testament the people offer to get baptized after they have somehow accepted the apostles messages and confesses their sins and signal conversion. Many of them that have books on magic and sorcery burnt them before baptism.
What the Roman Catholic is attempting to do here which is obvious to any reader and observer is to baptize someone that is evidently into gay union, someone that hasn’t even made an attempt to feign conversation. Someone that the church won’t recourse to regret baptizing even if they see him go back to the house of his or her gay mate immediately after baptizing because they understand they baptized not because of some conversion but just because of formalities

There is no fact you stated here that I have in any way denied. You are the one denying the facts I give.

The duty of the Church is to teach people what is right and what is wrong. It is not the duty of the Church to reward the doers of good and punish sinners. Similarly, the duty of the Church is to ensure that the person that wants to be baptised understands the meaning of baptism and has completed the training required for baptism, and that the baptism is conducted by a priest. It is not the duty of the Church to confirm the righteousness of the person or tell the person that he or she is a sinner who doesn't deserve to be baptised. God is the one that will punish the person if the person gets baptised and decides to abuse the baptism.

You have been dodging my question. Is there any biblical instruction that says the priest should confirm the holiness of a person before baptizing the person? Answer this question. And if you answer is no, what do you have against the Pope in this case? If your answer is yes, point out that biblical principle. Another question is this, did Pope instruct the church to skip the necessary trainings and spiritual recitations that accompany baptism when transgender people are to be baptised? If your answer is yes, what are those trainings and recitations the Pope instructed the church to skip for the transgender people? If your answer is no, what do you have against the Pope in this case? And if your answer is no, you are obviously blaming the Pope for not assuming the position of God to cast some people into hell and direct some people to heaven.

Lies Satan have told.
Salvation is more than personal thing. Salvation entails going to join yourself to a spur family that will feed you healthy food. The Bible said something like “go yea out from them and touch not unclean things”.
Salvation entails fellowship with brethren that will exhalt u to doing acceptable things.
And progress in the sight of God is not about how much a church has or the number of the congregants. Success of a church is if it’s fulfilling its spiritual role which is truthful guidance.
Catholic is failing in an epic way in this role

Thank you that you mentioned you haven’t gone against what I have said.
The church punishes though my brother by excommunicating. You will start to understand the role of a church when you view as what it is really which is a spiritual family. The church should give truthful guidance and healthy spiritual food.
While the church welcomes transgender and gay. The church do not do what the Pope is urging Catholic to do now. Now pay attention. The church by its head the Pope is saying that “transgender and those in same sex” union can be baptized. What more vetting do one need again? To give an illustration. The church may not know if somebody that has shit robbed on his body but with a robe on comes for baptizing. But what the Pope is saying is that baptize someone that has it shit robbed on his robe. Someone that even calls your attention to the shit.
You should understand the sacrilegious thing the church is doing now.
And I think I have answered your question exhaustively. The priest isn’t confirming anything in catholism now. The Pope is directing them to “baptize transgender and people in gay union”. It’s a specif directive.
And you are actually the one dodging issues. You have only based your argument on baptism. How about the marrying of man and man? Is the priest too unable to vet that?

The punishment administered by the Church is limited to actions that are within the power of man. Let me give some examples. The Church may punish a member by assigning a back seat to him or her for a certain period of time but will neither declare that the person is no more a member of the congregation nor stop the person from entering the Church building. The Church may sanction a person but will never go to the extent of tampering with the person's salvation by saying that the person is no longer a child of God or that the person will never make heaven. This is why the Church does not deny a baptised member who is no longer a kid the Holy communion, even if that member was caught in the act of sin a moment before the sharing of the Holy communion. The Church only refuses to give the Holy communion to unbaptised adults or baptised children that are below a certain age. In this case, the baptism is a physical demonstration of the person's willingness to be a Christian. Giving an unbaptised member or a baptised infant the Holy Communion is like forcing the person to accept Christianity. This is why the Catholic Church, despite conducting infant baptism on babies, wait for the child to attain a certain age and undergo Catechism before giving the child the Holy Communion. The issue of baptism has to do with salvation. Therefore, there a limit to what the Church should do about baptism. If you willingly undergo the catechism and willingly go for the communion but decide to abuse the baptism and the decommission, you will be punished by God, not by the church. This is why the Pope said what we are discussing now.

I didn't intentionally skip marriage here and I am going to prove it to you now by addressing the issue of marriage and what the Pope said concerning the church allowing the presence of transgender couple. But I hope you won't deny the facts I am going to present now.

The marriage of someone who identifies with the Church deserves the recognition of the Church when the person meets certain requirements. The question now is what are those requirements. The requirements include transparency between the couple and the consent of the parents of each member of the couple. This means that the bride and the groom have to be open (not being dishonest) to each other and each of them has to get the consent of his or her parents for the marriage. Now, transgender people that want the downfall of Christians try possible ways to make the church sin against God. This is why they enter the church to tempt the Christians. If Christians overreact to the presence of transgender people in their midst, it will be a sin on the part of those Christians. This is a case of someone pushing you beyond your limits. If you are wise, you will stay within your limits and resist the urge to go beyond the limits. This is the situation of the Pope. This is why the Pope instructs the church to give those people their doctrinal entitlement which is wedding them, provided those two transgender people that call themselves couple are open to each other and their parents consent to their marriage.

Please, has the Pope in any way said that transgender or gay marriage is not a sin? Also, did the Pope wake up one morning and say those things? They tempted the Pope by asking him certain questions before the Pope made the statements. The Pope knows that transgender and the gay marriage are sinful but he's being careful not to go against God when reacting to the issue. That is why he does not want the church to assume God's position and begin to cast those gay people out. Again, there's a saying that, "If you chase a sinner away, how will he repent". The Catholic teachings tell us that every saint had a past and every sinner has a future. This means that those of us who think we are better than the transgender people now might become worse than them in future and those transgender people might repent before leaving this earth.

Those transgender people understand the Bible and the doctrines of the church more than you do and that is why they manage to subtly do a lot of things to undermine Christianity. That is also why they have entered the church to tempt the Pope because they know the doctrines of the church and the Bible and they know when the Pope goes beyond the doctrines of the church and against the Bible. They are not ignorant of their own actions, they just want you to follow them in going astray.

We are all Sinners and have fallen short of the Glory of God.

The Catholic Church is not encouraging people to become Gay or Transgender.

What the Pope is trying to do is give room for LGBT community to know they can seek for God who's all Merciful.

The Church will never permit marriage between two same sex. The day that will happen if I'm still alive I will be leaving the Catholic Church.

Secondly when it comes to the matter of doctrine, the Pope doesn't just order Catholics like slaves.

That's why the caveat as long as it doesn't course confusion or scandal. This means the local priests have the final say to decide if the said Trans deserves to be baptized or not.

You might not know his conversation with the priest.

Are you condenming Gay and Trans that they can never repent and come to Jesus? If you are not, then how can they come to Jesus if the church abandon them.

Listen to your self friend. It took great strength to read through that your write up.
You have painted a witless conforming church. A blackmailed church.
It’s unthinkable that the first century Christians will join together a man and a man. What is the fear.

It’s the height of sacrilege for the alter of God to be used to join a man and a man. Who is your God friend?
You and Roman Catholic Church aren’t people based on the Bible. This is my original argument. You people are people polluting Gods name and alter.
A church of God will not judge the same way it won’t join a man and a nan together. Do you read your Bible at all? The same sin sodom was destroyed for in the church? CHAAAAAAIIIIIIII. Devil strong

The church baptises Sinners but the Bible made it clear that if you say you are with no sin then you are a liar. John 1:18.

The church doesn't baptized us as saints but during baptism we are admonished to reject Satan and all his ways.

The point is the Holy Spirit promises to be with the Church till the end and Jesus won't allow any man, Pope or not to scatter His sheep by promoting false teachings.

The day the Catholic Church permits same sex marriage, then it's not the church of Jesus Christ.

It’s your last statement you should listen to. It’s the number one question you should ask yourself.
The Pope as said it’s possible to join same sex together hasn’t he? He has! So it’s the head of that kind of a church a Christian/Christlike? Is the church he heads a Christian church in deed? When will people like you have the courage not only to ask pertinent questions but to react to it?
And you may not know the Bible very well. Infact Catholic for years have been practicing things that aren’t Bible based it’s just that with time it is getting more grievous and pronounced. First baptism as obtains in the Bible is for those that have renounced their sins and converted. We had many of them burnt their magic books just before baptism. This Bible fact in itself has first put to question the fundamental Catholic practice of infact baptism. Importantly, sinner in the Bible are not baptized.
Please go back and really research the Bible. Quest your church. Roman Catholic like many other church is not bringing out fruits that will make somebody that understand the Bible say it’s a Christian church or Bible based church.

There's no where the Pope said it's possible to join same sex in marriage. What might be possible is baptism.

I don't have strength to argue about other things that Catholics do that's the Bible condemed.

Can you mentioned one place in the Bible that said baptism is only for Adults?

The same Bible said Peter baptized Cornelius and his entire household and it's not very impossible there might be children in that house hold.

Jesus said suffer not the children from coming to me for the kingdom of God is for people like them.

The sole aim of Baptism is to cleanse us from original sin which both kids and adults have.

Secondly the church came before the Bible, there are people who will never be able to have access to the Bible or those who won't be able to read the Bible due to illiteracy. So how do they get to hear the word of God. They do through those God appointed.

The Jews we inherited Christianity (most of our beliefs) from, during Jesus's time don't have the old testament to read, they listen to the scripture when they go to they synagogues.

They Bible is for teaching and reproach but it's not the only authority given by God.

When Jesus was sending the disciples, He even commended them not to take anything with them not even money.

God's law is already engraved in each of our minds.

The Catholic Church has produced countless of people with impeccable character, even athiest and non Christians can't deny their sanctity.

There's no one saint in the church that even you can question his or her holiness. Today the church still has millions of holy people all over the world.

If you are waiting for the church to start pronouncing saints on Earth then I don't think that will ever happen because ordinarily we are all supposed to be saints on earth

Listen to your self friend. It took great strength to read through that your write up.
You have painted a witless conforming church. A blackmailed church.
It’s unthinkable that the first century Christians will join together a man and a man. What is the fear.
If a dinner must leave the church let him.
I have been using facts against your emotional points in this arguement. I repeatedly asked you if the Bible instructs you to confirm the righteousness of a person before allowing the person to enter the church. You refuse to answer the question. Let me ask you another question. Should the Pope assume the position of God and cast those he considers sinners away from the church? You have not been able to use any Bible quotation to prove what I said wrong. You are just using your sentiment against the Bible facts that I presented. Point out any biblical instruction that says we should confirm the righteousness of our fellow humans before allowing those fellows to enter the church, and I will agree with you that the Pope should ban gay couple and transgender people from the church. If you're unable to point out that biblical instruction, it clearly means that you wrongly expect the Pope to be in the position of God to cast gay people into hell.

Do not be half wise. Take time to listen to yourself.
I do not say gay should be thrown out of the church. Arguing with a lot of people in this modern age is draining as you will just be going in circle.
I have answered your questions well all this time.
Again:
(1) The church like an hospital welcomes all. Gay are welcome.
(2) There are things that aren’t for everyone though in the Bible; i, communion are for those that have in their mind ascertain that they are right with God. ii, Baptism is a sign of conversation. How do I know this? It happens everytime in the Bible after people have repented and converted. I can actually give you tens Bible instances to support my argument.
*Again so it stick with you. The Pope or pastor do not ban gay or transgender. But the Pope or pastor do not join them together in marriage.
* you may baptize somebody that says they have repented and converted, but you do not do like the Pope and baptize a proffers transgender or somebody that’s in a same sex union.
Just listen to your argument. No Catholic would have imagined being in your position just a year ago. Catholic on marriage especially was conservative. You do not have to find things to defend everything.
Again, have I answered your question or not?

The way you guys can defend things? Who is Roman Catholic Church today? Who is that one person that represent Roman Catholic Church? Who is that one authority? Isn’t it the Pope? He is the head! If the head is sick the whole body is sick.
The head of the church (in essence, by implication the church itself) has said transgender and couple in gay union can be baptized and it has said that there can be marriage of gay in the church. What other defense do you have for this? Can you still say this church is Bible based?

Does the Bible authorize you to confirm people's holiness before allowing them into the Church?

Answer these two questions if you believe your opinion against the Pope is in line with the Bible. If you don't answer the questions, you have no biblical facts against the Pope in this case.

You're deliberately being ignorant. Jesus is the head of the church and no man can replace that.

The day a Pope will say something contrary to the Bible or teaching of the church, the church which are we the people will reject him and his teaching.

The Pope didn't say the church will wed gay people. Don't just pick up something on the internet and rush to rubbish the church.

This is a church that stood all forms of scandals and it's still standing strong because the gate of hell can't prevail against it.

Kindly watch this to know what exactly the Pope has said and the teaching of the church about marriage.

Marriage is between a man and a woman and no Pope or anyone can change that.

Please endeavor to watch that so not to continue to say what the Catholic Church didn't say.

They only people to bring about any doctrinal change in the church is not the pope but the college of Cardinals even them can't change some certain truths about Christianity.

The instances we have of every baptism in the Bible is that of adults. Jesus the don of God and John the baptism themselves weren’t baptized when they were young though they had access to the temple and synagogue.
Every instance is baptism of adults.
And it’s this argument of Catholic that Bible is not the only guidance that has made the church not to have boundaries.
But Timothy said the Bible is complete and able to reprove and direct. All the early Christians and Bible people were directed by the Bible. Their life conformed with the Bible. The Bible as Gods words was the “lamp” to there feet.
And let me tell you, the Bible was before the church. Jesus met the Bible. He quoted the Bible.
The church is beget from the word. The word which is the Bible is the stamp on the church. How can I prove this? Jesus said people will know that you are my people if YOU OBEY MY COMMANDMENTS. Where is the commandments? In the Bible. A church that do not follow this is not Christ people. The church is not a Christian and it in actual fact not a church.
I have cut out the part we’re the Vatican said the church is open to gay marriage.( Do you read with open mind?)
...In October, he suggested that the Church would be open to bless same-sex couples, as he told a group of cardinals "we cannot be judges who only deny, reject and exclude".

1) no the Pope didn’t say that gay is not a sin.

I do not even know how u brought up that question. I am saying the Pope do not conform with the Bible by baptizing professed gays. Or intending to perform same sex marriage

2) no the Bible does not authorize.

But then the only instances of baptism in the Bible is that of people that have repented. So a priest will not baptize A PROFESSED GAY.
I may be gay now and a priest can baptize me so far as I say I have repented. But a priest will not baptize me when I still profess I am a gay or when I remain in sane sex union. It didn’t happen in the bible

Which Bible are you talking about?
