Only fourth-world countries brag about remittances🇳🇬💩. SA's wealth is generated from within by a population a quarter the size that of Nigeria🇿🇦🏆

Jacob Zuma was fired for being corrupt and Jackie Selebi imprisoned 🇿🇦. Question is why are corrupt people and criminals idolized in Nigeria? People are gonna come here and defend Nigerians selling drugs in SA, and call black South Africans lazy and jealous coz they dont cut corners🇳🇬👎🏾
They must be Nigerians undecided🤡🤡

News last week that a South African drug mule had been sentenced to death in Malaysia prompted discussion – for the umpteenth time – of the South African government’s approach to South African citizens convicted of crimes in countries with draconian laws. The issue is rendered even more troubling by the growing evidence that some drug mules may actually be the victims of human trafficking. By REBECCA DAVIS.

Last week, 28-year-old Deon Cornelius became the latest South African to be convicted for smuggling methamphetamine into an Asian country with stringent drug laws – in this case, Malaysia. IOL reported that Cornelius had been sentenced to death in Kuala Lumpur, though the sentence could still be commuted to a prison term on appeal.

Bro, flashing these lists and pie-charts makes no difference to me. You simply don't have the attributes of a big economy. Let me pose a question to you...what have been the positive implications of being the biggest economy on the continent to the average Nigerian man on the street? Does it mean he now has excess to smooth wide roads to drive on? does it mean he now has excess to better health care than before? clean water? Does he now have better electricity? If Not, you're merely excited by the status of having a big economy not the real tangible effects of it

No No No..hustling and desperation are two different things.. When your people drown in oceans trying to make it to better countries, that's desperation and that's not a country with attributes of a "big economy". You don't see that from Angolans, not from Namibians, not from us...let's not glorify poverty and suffering with the guise of "hustling"

A fourth British man was arrested in London and two South Africans taken into custody after the seizure of almost three tons of hashish and heroin in Durban worth an estimated R600m (£48m).

Police said one of the Britons arrested in the coastal city was seized at La Lucia Mall in the north of Durban while attempting to leave the country. Detectives found R180,000 (£15,000) in cash, drugs and a plane tickets in his car. The other two British men are said to be brothers.

The South African Police Service said the drugs had been packed in blocks, sealed in brown wrapping and hidden in truck battery casings at two separate locations in Durban before being sent to the UK.

Thishuh?

China has executed a South African woman for drug smuggling, rejecting an appeal by President Jacob Zuma to spare her life, an official says.

Janice Bronwyn Linden, 38, was executed more than three years after her arrest.

Human rights groups have repeatedly condemned China for imposing the death penalty, saying its legal system did not guarantee a fair trial.
