System overhauling? I didn’t submit online 😂😂or is it human overhauling?

They are currently having a system overhauling in SOUTH AFRICA as regard migration policy hence the longer delay currently,it was resolved yesterday and although there are plenty backlogs of documents to attend to,so I hope they do that soonest...

It doesn't mean they won't approve visa,I'm explaining the reason for some delays when I asked their office,they told me this.They are upgrading many things in addition so that visa processing can be smooth.[/quote]

The DHA site is quite complex
That mean you have probably yet to upload the document for submission.

When you request. If you didn't they will keep it with them

No. On the day of the physical submission, I ask them to give me my passport back, they did. They have a form in respect to that to fill. My family I left with them because they don't need immediately. We also fill a form inrespect to that. So it's either you keep with them or you take along. Both are accepted.

Hi , I also got confused at his post. I had to follow his trial of messages for clarifications.
I think he submitted around October for a family vacation and got passport submission notification in November for himself only.
That was what i "believe" he was explaining in the last message.

Interesting update
I submitted a CSV renewal on 31st Oct
Got notification that it was returned to VFS on 10th Nov
It was ready for collection on 13th Nov
Confirmed yesterday that it was approved.
I still don't know how but that's the fastest CSV approval I've seen.
To God be the glory.

Yes. I submitted for myself and my family. I got the following sms.Visa Application, Ref No. SALA/ has been dispatched to The South African High Commission, Lagos for processing on Thu Nov 02 2023.
I got another one, Visa application,tracking ID No.SALA/3 has been forwarded to the South Africa Visa Office, LAGOS on Thu Nov 02 2023.

And another one,Visa Application, Ref No. SALA/is under processing at The South African High Commission, LAGOS.

And email address for DHL



I guess this is Evisa application. How do I go about it pls
what visa type will I choose for post doc ?

I've previously made 3submissions and none had ever taken less than 3months. Sometimes CSVs take up to 6months.
Just thought to share in hope that there'd be improved response time for application going forward.

Please for this CSV, Even if I have an MEng In Electronics Eng, do I need a number of years of experience to apply for it ? even if I have a found a job? I am just asking thank you. If you can guide me.

You don't neccesarilly need work experience to apply for Critical skills visa but you need to somehow convince the professional body that you have the required skill and the easiest way to do that is with experience

It is expected, like i said, "some" depending on the timing and mood of approving officer, you can get it in time. I also got a tourist visa approved just 2 months ago in less than 72hrs.

Hello everyone. I was given a Sa visa. I applied Nov and am expect to travel 24 jan. But visa came with 23rd Dec instead of Jan. How do I rectify this pls .
