Osimehn played against Ghana home and away and much recently against Saudi arabia. He was missed but the difference isn’t osimehn. The team is imbalanced

How many clear cut chances did we create against Ghana if i may ask? Osimhen against minnors is totally different, he will definitely Stat pad! Especially during a competitive game...

Ultimately getting a local coach is part of the path to Nigeria's football success but why the NFF and SE fans believe Nigerian coach and competence are two parallel lines is what I will never understand.

Mujtahida:

It's all conjecture until it is done. When Amunike comes in now and things go south, we will cry for him to be relieved from the job. That's my point.
I'm neither for or against Eguavoen, Amunike or Siasia. And an argument for or against can be made for every one of them.

TheSuperNerd:

Any talk of midfield invitations without Kelechi Nwakali shows you people are still not ready for progress and truths. There is no one, absolutely no one in the team with the same midfield profile Nwakali boasts.

You call Ifeanyi, Yusuf... so Nwakali isn't doing well too?

When will you fans learn?

Utter total balder dash.

What profile Consistent, Continuous, Poor low level performances playing in obscurity in dead teams for the past 8 years.

Going from one level of mediocrity to another. He got relegated last season now his team is in relegation once again.

He is getting paid peanuts less than what he got at Ponferradina now at Chavez, that tells you something. He is so good thousands of Scouts across Europe have not seen him. Na only you get eye 👀.

This campaign is dead on arrival

I am yet to see any tactically sound Nigerian local coach. If they are serious about SE eagles job let them signup for some cheap courses via zoom with Mikel Arteta at comfort of their homes before dreaming of coaching SE.

That was how pep gardiola deceived us with chess board 1994 formation grin

But why is NFF just so clueless and greedy, imagine appointing Joseph Yobo as assistant coach back then. SE need a world class coach if at all we must change a coach. Not Amuneke no finding please fgsk grin

The part fans play in d the evolving SE is both uplifting and demoralizing. We rate the SE so high dat I forgot to realize dat most of them are average players and league wise the EPL is hyperbolically hype and exaggerated. EPL to be continued.................... If pajero is not sack by Sunday, I pray he doesn’t come to Lagos cos I will cause serious accident to him with man diesel.

Peseiro will beat Zimbabwe tomorrow. We are all here.

Once our strikers just do the needful infront of goal. What out grin

The European coaches that achieved great success with African sides weren't particularly well known prior to their stints in Africa....Metsu, Djukovic, Rejavac etc

We clearly aren't an attractive project to the A-grade coaches..just that there are levels even to the lower grade coaches and JP thus far has proven to be a misfit.

We need the NFF to bring their A-game when dealing with managerial changes...whether local or foreign ..which isn't quite as straightforward as fans and pundits think.

Like you Amuneke is not my first choice at the moment to coach the SE that said he hasn't been tested to say for certain that if his appointment will work or not.

For the clarity I wasn't speaking of a particular coach when I made my previous post.

Why not a working midfield system that feeds our strikers? To be Frank most of our strikers will make first 11 of most teams in Africa. This says alot. Peseiro na complete efulefu. He should reduce the strikers to 4 ooo. Anyway de man no dey hear word.

in my opinion ,, the draw to Lesotho is a wake up call and this will make everyone sit tight and qualifying for the world cup and a campaign for the semi final ticket at the AFCON has started on a good note . we have the resources to do well . we only have a bad coach and Bad decision makers in the NFF . What we need is a tweak in the coaching crew and watch SE metamorphous .

I mentioned Amuneke because after Pep gardiola and finidi he is Nigeria next Klop. Some will even say his combination of Sia Sia will be bomb. wink

People clamouring for local coach don't really watch football except LiveScore and newspaper.

Nigeria beat saotome 16-0 with peseiro as the coach and osimhen on the 2legged affairs.
Forget no striker cam be compared to Osimhen in the super eagles…
Awoniyi carelessness in front of goal, Lookman selfishness to release pass…this is where osimhen trump over these guys..:osimhen will create chances and still convert his own chances.
Against Lesotho home and away 2021 Afcon qualifiers
Les 2-4 Nig away match
osimhen scored two goals and assisted one
We just need osimhen against all these minnows and see how we go pound them
Oh you forgot Osimhen failed to score a goal against another minnow Guinea Bissau in both legs.

So you think Osimhen is finding it easy under Peseiro, pls just remove São Tomé 7 goals from his goal chart and you will realized that Peseiro
is poor.

If we are missing Osimhen against Lesotho then something is wrong with our technical team.

The issue at hand is beyond the players but dummy Peseiro.

Against Lesotho SE created 14 good chances and 8 on targets. And scoring just 1.
What do you make off that than our forwarders are wasteful and selfish. Do we expect Peseiro to enter the pitch to help them convert these begging chances .

A serious FA wouldn't be playing with chances

This is the best formation for the Super Eagles due to the number of strikers available, although I prefer a 4-3-3 formation.

Knowledge is essential but knowledge without the experience of application becomes speculative.

There are some things that can be taught and some things that have to be experienced.

Most Nigerian coaches don't have the knowledge and certainly not the top level quality experience required to be a top level coach

“Sometimes you have to play ugly to win games"

Joseph Yobo believes the Super Eagles will come back stronger at the 2024 AFCON.💪
This is one of the submissions that made me unpopular in this space.
Play dirty and get the needed results, that is football.

In this day and age where technology has made it easy to access learning and educational materials no Nigerian coach has an excuse not to improve their knowledge of the game.

Yes opportunity and a conducive environment helps but if you're determined and focused there's no reason why one shouldn't succeed.

Pitso that won a CAF Champions League doesn't have two heads.

All our coaches need to make self improvement and working a priority and not just sitting down somewhere waiting for NFF to give you a job in the name of you're an ex international.

If we really need Oshimen to beat Lesotho then we have to agree we don't have a team.
This is like saying Mancity failure to beat Sony Sugar FC was because Halaand didn't play. You get?
thats exactly how we qualified to Afcon 2024…Osimhen was highly instrumental especially playing against Minnows..Saotome and S/leone…he must shaaa score 2/3goals

South Africa leading Benin Republic by 2goals,a second win for South Africa in the next match will give them 6 points; if Nigeria fails to beat Zimbabwe, it Is over. Until we employ a competent coach our chances are incredibly slim. I know they will sack pasiero but it will be too late .
