Simply means that despite the strife and hatred from your enemies yet the Lord makes you prosper in every way while they watch helplessly.

Prov 16:7. If a man's way is pleasing unto the Lord, He makes your enemies to be at piece with you.
..........
In the midst of God's blessings in your life, your enemies 'just Sidon look'. They became powerless to harm you

Perfect example is Wike: in the presence of his enemies a table was prepared for him.

Read New Revised Standard (NRSV) Version, you will say no it must be King James version because you are of the times of Shakespeare.

Nonsense.

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies"

As simple as that.
Literally you should now be able to figure it out the verse based on the chapter's context.

The explanation is simple!

Just look at JAGABAN coming to the last election!

We thought he won't win APC primaries but he won!

Despite Emefiele economics we thought he won't win the general elections but he won!

His enemies wrote letters to POTUS!

They called on Chukwu Okike Abiama, Eledumare, Ubanjigi and all names they could call!

But the man has already been annointed with oil!

He was to be arrested before swearing in but that couldn't happen!

At tribunal he had to win as he's annointed!

Even in the presence of all his enemies he still had to win at the supreme court!

Though he walked through the valley of the shadow of death, he did feared no evil!

Such fellow if from God alleviates poverty and suffering..

The Bible says when the righteous are in authority.. the people rejoice..

The criminal Tinubu bought and bribed his way into power..
It's no surprise that suffering, hunger, death and insecurity reigns..

The good book never lies

You can read it yourself in easy English. undecided
Just so you are aware, this Psalm among many others is spoken from the point of view of a man who was holy and righteous before God—none of what is contained apply to the unrighteous. Yes, David was already approved righteous by God even before He became King of Israel. undecided
Christ in us makes us Righteous. It is not works if not man will boast but it's a Grace which is God Gifts to mankind.

When you give your life to Christ you automatically received the Righteous life of Christ which automatically makes you Righteous

Although just like human life, it is expected to grow that life from infancy to adulthood and the food needed to grow this life from infancy to adulthood is by obedient to the word
The more you do the word, the more you grow and if you don't do the word, you remain stunted smiley

It about the time that Samuel the prophet came to anoit David. David was not well like in the community because some people think he is bastard due to his reddish hair, so when the prophet refuse to sit and eat until David was brought from the wilderness where was he with his father flock. He was praising God in that passage for elevating him in front of his naysayer

It simply means in the presence of your enemies, God will bless and prosper you, and nothing they can do to stop or hinder it.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

The Unqualified was qualified by the grace of Almighty God.

They are unforgiving while Almighty God is forgiving.

Nigerians don't like to give credit to whom it belongs. It's possible Steve furtick got it from somewhere else, that's not my business. I got it from him and his opinion at that time was definitely better than mine hence why I gave him the credit
You are missing the point. It has nothing to do with giving credit or not.
When it comes to spiritual conviction, how you see things matters so that you don't join the bandwagon of my pastor says, td jake says etc while they are teaching without having any personal conviction.

It can be in your place of work, when people gang up against you out of envy and they want to pull you down. When God prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies, he can make you get promoted in such a way that the one who seeks to bring you down reports to you. other times, you might even leave the office entirely to a better place and guess what, they'll just look and won't be able to do anything. Sometimes, some of them will even try to resolve with you so you can help them.
Some years back, my mother received a lot of queries at work that got to the point that she will be sacked by a local government chairman. Even the chairman hated her because my father was in the opposition. She told me then. I was eight. We prayed and God answered. A few weeks after, the chairman( sole administrator as they call them) was removed overnight. He really suffered after then that you'll hardly recognize he was once an LGA chairman. My mother furthered in her work peacefully until she retired some years after. She still collects her pension till today and she will tell me the story over and again. God is really faithful, brother.

It can be in your family. Some terrible people who do not want you to achieve in life. It's only their children. Some of us have this experience. You have people who will not help you and even go as far as blocking your chances because they feel your success is a threat to them. When Psalm 23,5 is fulfilled, you'll even become the family champion. The same people who wants you down now run to you for help with their children. They can do you anything again.

So this things happen every time in every generation. Be it in family, place of work, political sphere, classroom or anywhere.

Recently, I am facing some challenges in my place of work. But I believe in God that I will overcome while those who seeks to bring me down will keep watching.

God does wonders for his people.
To be with God is the best for a man.

I need an illustration or an example of these passage from bible scholars.

"Psalms 23:5: "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies"
.

"You secured my destiny for good in the mist of those who sees no good in me"
"You make me always get recognized and succeed in all places that I am, even when they expected that I will fail"
"I am a poor girl whose father is an Okada rider in Sambisa who the people laughed at, but I am graduate from the Harvest school of medicine"

So "a table before me" on its own can be a big book for a read. A different kind of big books on grace and favors divine.
Grass to grace,
Israel being surrounded by Arabs,
A Nigerian Christian in Sokoto,
A Christian Igbo man working in the office of the president in Aso Rock in Buhari's regime where all around you are Muslim northerners speaking Housa,
A poor Nigerian boy working in King Charles palace as an adviser to the King when you have White educated men as counsels to the King.

The table can fit in anyway places and in many places.

You anointed my head with Oil and my cup runs over.

"I have an unmerited grace that everything I do brings in blessings."
"I am blessed by you that I prosper from everything that I touch"

A man who has a table prepared for him in the presence of his enemies must surely have an anointed head with a cup running over.
Two of them go together.

May the bible wisdom be revealed to you more.
