Not that his people didn't deliberately love him. Hausas wanted to compensate Yorubas with presidency due to MKO case. So they organised an election. Yoruba people presented Olu Falae while Hausas presented Obasanjo. Yorubas voted for Olu Falae AD while other parts of Nigeria voted for Obasanjo, PDP. Obasanjo won of course and he showed Yorubas that he didn't represent them. So in a way, Obasanjo was only there to fulfill Hausa man's agenda of deceit. Tinubu is the first true Yoruba president.
