My argument on the Plateau matter is that whether it was well-conducted or not, an Appeal Court validated the fresh Congress in February this year.

I know Justices Andenyangtso & Goodluck were on that panel so tbh I am at a loss.

What did the appeal court in Kano say about the invalid ballot papers?

.Timkuk v PDP...

The Appeal Court declined jurisdiction and struck out the suit.

Justice Tani Yusuf Hassan (the woman who sacked Agah Avia presided with Ali Andenyangtso & Olasumbo Goodluck all in concurrence.

Excerpts of the Judgement;

Augustine Timkuk v. INEC, PDP, Nannim Joseph, Gwott Yakubu Chocho, Fidelis Adara, John Adah & Amos Timbau

Kano is more preferable alongside zamfara...

From the judgment, the phc judgment wasn't vacated

The kind of comments a 'supposed' future generations/leader are making here beats my imagination. They will just comments with emotion and sentiment. They will never look at the merits of the matter. For them, anytime court favour APC, democracy is in danger and country is sliding to one party. But when it's favour them, it's victory for democracy.
They quickly forgot when APC, the ruling party suffered the same fate both in Zamfara and Bayelsa states in 2019. They will never remember when the party was barred from contest election in Rivers state the same year. They will fail to mention the court cases the lost in the national and states assembly. As enlightened citizen, we should be able to analyze issues critically before draw our conclusion no matter the party involved. This is the only way we can differentiate between the learned and the illiterate.

Here on this platform, immediately after the election in Match, I remember vividly how someone posted here that the governor will be sack by court. I don't know how to referred to that post if not I would have post the link here.
You may not like a political party that doesn't make all the members of the party evil. If l may as, many of you that supported Peter Obi, does that make the party a saint? Infact majority of those in LP today are either a PDP, APGA and APC members. Even the flag bearer Obi himself was until May last year a PDP member. So let's be guided so as to make right comments free from bias.

Matawalle and Douye Diri were both rejected by the people of Zamfara and Bayelsa in 2019. The court made both of them governor in similar manner. So, whatโ€™s your point again? We should be asking PDP why they refused to comply with the judgement of the court of appeal regarding Plateau state chapter.

My point is โ€œit is wildโ€

Sure- I agree with you that the court is not a place for emotions. But surely does not foreclose public discourse on the judgements given.
You said APC primaries is not being challenged in court? Do well to check your facts on this- as we await the final judgement in the Supreme court on that aspect. Likewise, you said PDP plateau did not obey Justice Gang's court order to conduct fresh primaries? Check the rulings from the tribunal. Plateau PDP conducted new primaries after the court order . The court judgement was in 2020 and they conducted fresh congress obeying the Judge's order on September 25, 2021. Inec witnessed this and PDP national headquarters sent delegates in Person of Prince Akanmode and Senator Tunde Ogbeha to witness the new congress. Bitrus Kaze thereafter publicly embraced Chris Hassan as the new Plateau PDP chairman.
casualobserver:

The court is not a place for emotions, you all edge and present evidence and the court will rule based on what you plead and the facts you present. If you go to court to say your car was stolen, the court will not award you compensation for your television that was also stolen because you did not go to court for television.

Whether APC did in its plateau primaries is neither here nor there, because it was not challenged in court. What was challenged in court was what PDP did and it was challenged by PDP members not APC. If it wasnโ€™t challenged by PDP, APC would not have have a leg to stand on.

This mess was created by PDP, they should own their mess.

The panel agreed with the appellant (Goshwe) that the failure of the PDP to comply with the order of the Plateau State High Court in Jos in suit no: PLD/J304/2020 between Bitrus B. Kaze & 11 ors vs the Peoples Democratic Party & 24 ors directing it to conduct valid ward, local governments and state congresses before nominating its candidates for the various elective posts and the Court of Appeal order in CA/J1/93/2021 was a breach of the law.

โ€œThe act of the 1st Appellant in sponsoring the 2nd Appellant for the bye election is void which has no legal effect. A party may not derive an advantage from its own unlawful acts,โ€

This is so sad, Baba Jang and General Useni fight finish now naa the masses and Caleb suffer am, you can imagine what they've caused, a state that PDP won with landslide because of PDPs no structure they've lost

Which landslide? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Mutfwang had 48% of the total vote casted according to inec And he won just 1 zone out of 3 which was the Northern zone only.

Nentawe had 44% of the Total votes casted and he won 2 zones out of 3 which was the southern and Central zones of Plateau!

So how did Mutfwang win with a landslide? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

yes. Anyone win in the Supreme Court of justice will be crowned the governor . Governor mutfwang still has huge advantage in the Supreme Court of justice. Pre election matters cases wonโ€™t be entertained in the Supreme Court. It will be struck out in the Supreme Court of justice

I quite agree with you. The Supreme Court is not an evidence court. It only see if the judgement is consistent with the provisions of the Law.
However, the outcome is not automatic the judgement of either of the lower courts will not be held

I am not familiar with plateau politics but what I caN say is that it was foretold by many even before the elections that the fate that befell apc in zamfara will befall PDP in Plateau so those who warned must have known that PDP did not comply with the law and like I said even an official spokesman of thr PDP said this is the fault of the PDP.
