iamoyindamola:Wike is wike. He would have rigged the same election for obi. With the same violence. And obi knows this Atiku also knows this. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:36pm On Nov 21, 2023 |
GloriousGbola:If Wike rigged for Tinubu, it means there was actually a legitimate winner that was edged out. So how can you say Wike would have rigged for anybody, when truly one person was going to be shortchanged? I mean....Think about what you are saying. Okay, if Wike rigged for Tinubu, who then is the legitimate winner that actually won? |

izzou:When I figure out the otem numbers I will travel back in time to find out. Atikus dollars may have prevailed if wike had not intercepted them. Who knows? https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/217686-nigerian-police-officer-beheaded-rivers-rerun-election.html This is how wike has always run elections in port Harcourt In an orgy of bloodletting, ballot box snatching and intimidation. Even when it was not necessary. |

GloriousGbola:All these modes of operation of Wike doesn't relate to what you said. You said Wike would rig for any of the above, and I am saying that is you being insincere on your part. If Wike rigged for Tinubu, it means either Obi or Atiku was shortchanged. It means the real winner was either Obi or Atiku. Then how can you come and say Wike would have rigged again for the real winner? |

GloriousGbola:I am not really a hip hop head but I just dont know anything happening in hip hop in the last 10yrs. I still mainly listen to those from the late 90s and 2000s which I consider the golden age of hiphop Recently I had to listen to Eminem Mashall Matters all over listened to Blueprint, listened to Illmatic, DMX and there was X. All the songs we used to fawn over coincidentally they were all released within a 3yr window 2000 to 2004 I wish I have a teenage son and I will just sit him down say boy listen to this and compare to whatever y'all are listening to today I don't think its a bias, Those song of 90s and 2000s are simply better, Has there been any development in hiphop in the last 10-15yrs? Any new artiste that came and you legit thought he was all time material? I am getting old, Jay Z young forever doesnt apply to me |

Emaprince:Portable is one crazy nigggga; the kind u don't want to have being on ur case. E fit no get power to take do u anything o, but he will use his mouth and social media appearance frustrate u ![]() The only person that comes close which I witnessed live was Gbenga Adewusi(Bayowa). I have attached his pictures for those who don't remember his face. After the death of late Gbenga Adeboye the comedian, there were rumours flying around that Gbenga Adewusi a friend of the deceased was having an affair with the widow. The rumour became rife and Segun Adisa who anchors a particular Yoruba programme; labe Orun called out Gbenga Adewusi based on the rumours. Segun Adisa called Adewusi some unprintable names on the programme and said if he's not a bastarrd he will stop such nonsense romance he's having with his late friend's widow. Guess what Adewusi did? The next week while we were all watching the programme on sunday evning and Segun Adisa was talking about same issue; from nowhere Adewusi barged into the live studio calling Segun Adisa a bastard and said he has come to face him like a man . We were all shocked that how can that happen on a live programme ? How did Adewusi gain entrance into the studio?Na so the programme take end that day o. I'm very sure portable can do more than what Adewusi did.

GloriousGbola:But I listen to music that came out before I was born too. I have Commodores, Temptations, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Isley Brothers amongst many on my playlist. The music today is garbage honestly. Bar a few. I actually feel bad for the kids growing up, |

A40:Nigga I was on some Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin and Patti Labelle for my evening study. Damn those women sing nicer than "please and thank you“ I also ran through the top HipHop albums of 1994-1998 and the quality of lyricism was mindblowingly good. I think the streaming and Tik-Tok era has done irreversible damage to musical artistry. You don’t have to be able to build a base anymore to get paid. Just make music that goes viral on shorts |

A40:I think what this comes down to is unless you grow up in a house with older teenagers or uncle and auntie in uni, the first music you will be introduced to is your parents music. My parents had abba and Diana Ross records. Also boney m. I can Def recite abbas super trouper, boney ms daddy cool. In the same way my kids (the first two) are very familiar with 90s music because that's what they heard their dad playing. Their Playlist is very interesting though as they also listen to Ariana grande and Co. And somehow we introduced each other to some variants of nerdcore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKdLLu0TT78?si=9kYjzLlnaw6Taxur https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC6S4ZE0FKo?si=NPWZszAaYGF6LQB6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB04b2EaMVU?si=vTGIe2v_ZfSGJ_g3 raumdeuter:To be honest everyone agrees the 90s is the real golden age of a lot of music. There was so much good material from that time. I am still unearthing songs. Every once in a while I remember the lyrics of some old song and I Google it until I find it. Then I look for the high quality audio. I remember watching one Grammy awards where lol Wayne performed. I was like finally, let me see what this guy is about. I saw some dude mumbling up and down on stage. Like wtf is this? |

A40:I think you are making his point. As you grow older, you will revert back to the musics you grew up with. You won't be interested in contemporary musics anymore. So those music that was recorded before you were born are part of what you grew up with. It's happening to me. These days I find myself loving and playing a lot of old Congolese musics which my pops was always binging on when we were kids. I have lots of fally ipupa though cos he can create something very similar to the 90s Congo musics. I'm not talking makosa o. My elder bro now plays mostly Kenny Rogers, dolly parton and other country pop musics, which were also my pops regulars I've gone back to playing igbo gospel musics from likes of Bro Okwey Agape love Voice of the cross Patty Obasi Etc etc I heard their songs a lot as a kid, now it gives nostalgia..and refresh my memories back then. My hip hop play lists are from 90s and early 2000s. I don't even watch sound city, MTV or whatever anymore. Contemporary musics are everywhere you go, so you don't have to play it yourself to listen to them. This is how I get to know them. I don't have none of them on my Playlist except Davidos old musics when he was still hungry. |
