Oga no be initial gra gra o…it seems the gap is no longer wide o as before, initially I thought it was wide but with results coming outs the smaller teams no send o

The stronger teams will up their games as the qualifiers proceed. The only minnows that I see as being capable of pushing to the end are The Comoros Islands.

Ndidi's new playing style is actually a reminiscent of Mikel. Just a little bit of fine tuning on the part of Ndidi in terms of ball rentention and vision.

And we also need his long range shooting back.
Yea... he is improving and I hope he keep it up. Won't be a bad idea if we move him to B2B which will allow Iwobi to move closer to the box where he is most effective for us. Onyedika can be the DM.

Na to Dey put earbuds as if dem Dey vacation.

Respect to super eagles of yesteryears….Oh!Stephen Keshi&co,come and see passions and see players who are ready to die on the field…..I remember Angola vs Nigeria in Luanda which later ended 2-2…Nigeria came from two goals down to level up with goals from Ademola Adeshina and late screamer from Stephen Keshi.

Eagles need real passionate captain to lead the team, against Zimbabwe Boniface was arguing with Iheanacho, very disrespectful from a player with just 5 caps, meaning no discipline.
One of Keshi's best games is that 4-4 draw against Morocco (not sure) during CHAN. That was the match Ejuke Uzoenyi used to grab a WC shirt. What an emotional game. I think we came back from 3 goals down or so.

I have looked at the personnel he used to persecute most of his matches. Oliseh was in the process of building a team.

Take a look at Cisse's manager profile

jihday:
you people clamoring for Oliseh forget things too easily. Forget his off-field antics for a while and watch our games with Chad and Tanzania under him

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 9:27pm On Nov 21, 2023
Then what do you have to say about Zimbabwe, and Saudi Arabia? grin

I'm seeking excellence. Hence I find reasons to be better, and not excuses to remain poor.

Marjoribanks:
Looking at this you could see that Lesotho is not a poor team! 1nil loss to both Ivory Coast and Zambia. The last time we played them in Lagos and Lesotho without Osimhen we would not have won both legs! They even score first in Lesotho before Iwobi , Osimhen and Chukweze responded! Make una chill!

Ghana has a very poor team. They were lucky against Madagascar, they should have lost that game.
Madagascar nodding an open net to the goal post minutes before Ghana scored with the last kick of the game.
Like I also said, Senegal is not that good! Lacks adequate depth!

For real we are the most complete team going into AFCON and not by few miles!

Paserio is our Achilles heel!
.

Babami I said it once and somebody said I should stop it but seriously it pains me dat my darling team is playing like heavily pregnant women under a profane gallivanting, Akoogba and a wanton oponu coach.

Sir if I have jpajero itinerary especially around Lagos, Egbon, Yasin jpajero is a goner for I will help nff do the needful if they fail to oblige d fans

My brother, we cannot be making such excuses when we are playing low ranked teams with very poor players.. It doesn't sound smart

Marjoribanks:
Of course, we miss Osimhen's pressing and Ndidi's ginger! The team lacks leadership without those two! That's fact! Will Argentina win the world cup without Messi?
By full house. I mean enough rest and focus since the season would have come to an end!

Looking like it's going to be a very shitty group should JP remain.. with lots of draws and surprises here and there..
We have been grouped with our class

Amedino99:
shitty scheduling actually and I'm surprised the nff didn't fight it but no excuse is enough for not beating countries ranked 153 and 125.

If sacking pasero will be difficult because of financial constraints , then why not suspend him under the guise that he applied for another job while still contracted to the NFF.

A local coach should be gotten in the interim to prosecute AFCON for us.

I'm really not a big fan of local coaches, but seeing that our local coaches couldn't have performed worse than what pasero had churned out so far, it's choosing a lesser evil.

This NFF president is dull in appearance and actions

The man is just there. I doubt that man and his assistants knows national team football more than some of us here.

He is not active, can't even take decisions. I remember then at least we see Pinnick in stadia watch super eagles matches this one I never see am at all. He does not even make comments or grant interviews

We are really in for a long ride

All the four North African teams won their games. This new format will really favour them because they know how to play this type of qualifiers.
Senegal, Nigeria,Ghana, Cameroon all dropped points.

Poor players? What makes them poor? Most are playing in the South African league which is one of the best league in Africa.
Zim captain plays for Luton town with many playing in top divisions! My brother, football is not 2 by 2. The Lesotho game was purely bad luck! In history, Super Eagles hardly win away games, even your 1994 set struggles away from home!

This is entirely different from govt-civil servant slave contract! Paserio has the right to seek greener pastures!
