you do not realize that Hamas is a government who has refused to be puppeteer of Israel and fight for the rights of Palestinians. Palestinians in numbers are in Israeli prison and they could hardly do anything about it until Oct 7. They have been clamoring for International support to reduce Isreali inhuman treatment of Palestinians but no one one is interested to help. Both have hostages with Israel having much more. Do you know how many ceasefires that were negotiated during WW II to allow for prisoner exchanges?
