Brek: Your Biafran Soldiers Slaughtered the Yoruba Civilians at Ore deliberately! And that isn’t even half of the Story!!! Obi Ebbi who was a biafran Soldier confessed in his book “ broken back axle , unspeakable events in biafra “ they killed all the non Igbos along the biafran army’s withdrawals route it in order to prevent information on their biafran army’s Movement from being passed to the Federal Soldiers who were in Pursuit behind them When the Biafran Soldiers Withdrew from Ore their was a massive bloodbath they Slaughtered every Non Igbo they found on their Withdrawal Route between Ore in Ondo State and Agbor After the Biafran Army reached Agbor every Non Igbo they found in Agbor was Slaughtered Peter Obe the Photo Journalist Of Daily Times took a Photograph Of it with both sides of the Road full of dead bodies as far as the eye could see From Ore to Agbor and inside Agbor Town everywhere was full of the dead Bodies of the.Civilians which the Biafran Army had Slaughtered before Withdrawing The only ones that managed to Survive were those that fled into the Bush Ojukwu’s Biafran army Slaughtered all the Hausas they laid their hands on in the Midwest Gen Gowon prevented the full details from being published in the interest of reconciliation and One Nigeria 1 Like |

Christistruth03:The use of the argument of a soldier admitting they did one stuff again is a weak argument I've seen soldiers who won the war but say that they lost because the opponent was tuff so one person admitting they did horrible stuff is weak Again the article dosent mention the attricocities done by Biafran soldiers rather how there was an intension between the non igbos and igbos. They said over 600 bodies were recovered after the Biafrans left from war and it was literally unknown whether we're murdered on sight or was injured after the war |

Christistruth03:Another response to a Biafra massacre at midwest Unfortunately, therefore, temptation to seek revenge against Ibos was very strong shortly after federal troops arrived. Further, mischievous elements used the situation to settle scores against old enemies simply by reporting them to federal troops for "harboring Ibos". An uncle of mine, for example, was saved from execution at Ugonoba by the quick intervention of Colonel Murtala Mohammed himself (17). A few criminals even changed property deeds for housing, domestic plots, and plots on Rubber plantations. The presumption was that the Ibo owners would not return." Simultaneously, a committee of senior bureaucrats worked on measures to reintegrate Midwestern Ibos into State life, assist the economic recovery of those who had lost property, and attain reconciliation. The scale was enormous. In Benin City alone, 213 houses had been abandoned by fleeing Ibos. Many were looted of their contents. The government, before wars end repaired many damaged and abandoned houses; rent collected from tenants in rental property was kept in trust for the Ibo landlords in a Bank in Warri (14). Similar acts of forthrightness and honesty occurred in other parts of the state (17, 18). It is fair to say that the problem of "abandoned property" experienced in Port Harcourt by Ibos was not a major issue in the Midwest. Midwestern Ibo civil servants who had been displaced by the crisis of 1966 and returned to the state from other parts of the nation were absorbed into the civil service. Loans were given to self-employed individuals to enable them build back their businesses. Civil servants (and others) donated a percentage of their income to a State Rehabilitation Fund. These activities were in line with General Gowon's policy of Reconciliation, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction after the war But my overall view on the issue of the Midwest invasion is that hundreds of Igbos were killed in Benin, and hundreds of Igbos were killed in Warri and Sapele after the Federal capture of the Midwest, and thousands were killed in the Anioma area itself by Federal troops, and it's obvious even without the details, that the atrocities of the Biafran troops still couldn't compare to those of the Federal forces, in which several thousands were killed. The Federal atrocities were obviously worse. But the whole story might as well be told without euphemizing anything or cowing to propagandists who claim that nothing happened when everyone has said different for decades. |

Brek: Are you ware the Biafrans practically killed all the Northerners in the Midwest Except for the ones that were hidden by the non Igbos There is an allegation that about 800 Covilians were killed in Okene alone in one day when the Biafra got there The US Govt described what happened in the Midwest as the Biafrans withdrew as a Genocide I deliberately didn’t Mention that the Biafrans killed all the Yorubas and the Non Igbos at the lepers Colony because when Muritala’s troops invaded they retaliated by killing all the remaining Igbos when they got there The total prewar population of the leper colony was about 1,500 |

Christistruth03:"Cooks began poisoning Biafran soldiers whenever they had the chance to and it was because of this that Biafran soldiers began only eating food that was cooked by ethnic Igbos or self-cooked. Rebellious natives who did not wish to fight would often seduce Biafran soldiers to get information out of them and tell Nigerian authorities. On August 20 a group of Urhobo/Ijaw rebels raided a Biafran camp and were successful in killing 50 soldiers while 16 rebels were killed in the skirmish. Due to these rebellions Biafran soldiers began raiding and pillaging villages throughout both the Mid-Western Region and Niger Delta inhabited by anyone other than Igbo civilians" The article you put mentions that the reason why they massacred them was because of sabotage however they did not explain why they did it and did it for an excuse by the text above me refuted the claim of it 1 Like |

I don't give a damn if he gave a piece to eat, but the guy was full of hatred for a particular tribe. Infact, if I knew he was a soldier in the US Army, I would have contacted them to discipline him, before his hate damaged his health status. |
