Greedy Nature & Covetousness For Lagos State. by UncleAyo: 9:13pm On Nov 23, 2023
VERY INTERESTING READ

Which Lagos? Is it Lagos as a state or Lagos as a City?

First it was "all land in Lagos belongs to us, we own all the houses and the real estate";
Then "we developed all of Lagos";
then "Lagos is a no man's land";
then "Lagos is not part of Southwest";
Then "Lagos is not a Yoruba land";
Then "Benins are owners of Lagos";
Then "you're not a True indigen of Lagos";
Then "Lagos culture is not the same as the Yoruba Culture";
Then "Lagos is indigenous land of Lagos natives not Yoruba";
Then "Aworis are not Yoruba";
Then "Lagos is a former federal capital so it is not a Yoruba Land";
Then "Lagos is a formal British colony so it belongs to the British";
To them, Lagos belongs to any other tag or people, but not the Yorubas.

The Major Problems are:

==> 1. Covetousness:
a. Having or showing a great desire to possess something belonging to someone else.
b. A painful awareness of another's possessions or advantages and a desire to have them too.

Synonyms: jealousy, hatred, resentment, envy, enviousness, invidiousness, malice, enmity, animosity, green-eyed monster, ill will, spitefulness, maliciousness.

a. The delusional belief that one is important, powerful, or famous, as a form or symptom of mental disorder.
b. Megalomania is a mental disorder characterized by an excessive desire for power and glory and by illusory feelings of omnipotence. It is commonly understood as a psychological condition in which there is an obsession or delusion of grandeur.
c. Delusion of grandeur is the false belief that one is important or powerful, accompanying certain mental disorders. It is also known as paranoid grandiosity. Has subtype called: "narcissistic personality disorder".

CHARACTERISTIC OF: Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Symptoms may vary from person to person. The most common symptoms include:

1. Being overly boastful, exaggerating one’s own achievements
2. Pretending to be superior to others
3. Lack of empathy for others
4. Looking down on others as inferior
5. Monopolising conversations
6. Impatient, angry, unhappy, depressed or has mood swings when criticized
7. Easily disappointed when expected importance is not given
8. Always craves for “the best” in everything
9. Has a very fragile self-esteem
They:
10. Have an unreasonably high sense of self-importance and require constant, excessive admiration.
11. Feel that they deserve privileges and special treatment.
12. Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements.
13. Make achievements and talents seem bigger than they are.
14. Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate.
15. Believe they are superior to others and can only spend time with or be understood by equally special people.
16. Be critical of and look down on people they feel are not important.
17. Expect special favors and expect other people to do what they want without questioning them.
18. Take advantage of others to get what they want.
19. Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others.
20. Be envious of others and believe others envy them.
21. Behave in an arrogant way, brag a lot and come across as conceited.
22. Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office.

At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they view as criticism. They can:

1. Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special recognition or treatment.
2. Have major problems interacting with others and easily feel slighted.
3. React with rage or contempt and try to belittle other people to make themselves appear superior.
4. Have difficulty managing their emotions and behavior.
5. Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change.
6. Withdraw from or avoid situations in which they might fail.
7. Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection.
8. Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, humiliation and fear of being exposed as a failure.

Buying/building a house in Lagos and making tenants out of as many yoruba people as I can is top on my bucket list before I return to Nigeria.

Not that I can't do it now, I just don't have the time I would require to lord over them. But I will. If not for anything, for the comments I read daily on this forum, I most certainly will.

Lagos is indigenous land of Lagos natives not Yoruba. The covetous people are the Osun and Ogun people that migrated to Lagos and seized governance marginalizing the real natives using Igbos as excuse. An Anambra man is as much a migrant to Lagos as an Osun. The only difference is that his ethnic group is Igbo while Osun is Yoruba. Rivers State or Delta State are clear examples of similarity with Lagos. The only thing Igbos do is assert the fact that there are indigenous Igbos in the State and at most support them during elections and power sharing but the Yorubas on the other hand do not allow their fellow Yorubas from Lagos to rule Lagos and in fact declare them Igbos like witnessed with GRV.

Whether it is lagos or not, Yoruba would defend her land against any external aggressors or ungrateful migrants. When you tried invading Ondo, Yoruba came together and beat you back at Ore. It goes beyond Lagos, anytime you cross the line on any yorubaland, you shall surely feel the wrath.

Bonding for election but not against poverty. Monarchical mentality isn't bonding . Its servititiude.
Keep deceiving yourself. Whatever is happening in Lagos today isn't to favour Lagosians but to subdue their political might.
Another 4yrs, another Gbadebo,Gbadamosi,Gandour will seek the hands of migrant to fight the power that be in Lagos. This pattern has been in Lagos since god knows when but it was totally taken to another level this election.

Your covetousness is clear. By intimidating Lagos natives using FG backing then claiming their land simply because you speak same language whereas you're not from there is what you call defending. Lagos natives deserve to control how their State is run and if they feel Igbos are better partners than Iragbiji and Ogbomosho people so be it. Why not allow Lagos natives Govern Ogun and insult Ogun elders at will by dictating how Ogun is run or sack a native Ogun Governor replacing him with someone from Badagry since every Yoruba State is the same?

At least 8 yoruba clans have Ancient Ancestral Territories in Lagos State
Complete with their own Traditional Rulers
Awori with the most population,Ijebu , Ilaje,Egba,Egbado,Oyo,Owu,Ketu,Ijesha,Igbomina, ip
Every one of them arrived long before Gbadebo Rhodes Enslaved returnee Ancestors

If we tell you a little of the History of Yoruba Lagos if you have Conscience you will Shut up and beg for Forgiveness

There were Yorubas in Lagos long before Oduduwa was born
The first Oba of Ilesha fetched water from the sea at Moba to Cure Oduduwa’s Blindness in the 10 th Century

Moba is around Victoria Island
The Moba Crown Predates Oduduwa’s own it was some of theirPeople that Migrated to Otun Ekiti some are in Ijebu

The 9th Century 160km Eredo Wall near Ijebu was part of their Kingdom that reached the Sea and
Many Islands off the Coast of Lagos

most of the time they are Categorised with the Awori
but they were in Lagos Centuries Earlier

it was the Pre Oduduwa Moba King called Serade who idol Worshippers deified as Olokun
The Island he ruled from off the Coast of Lagos has now been submerged by the sea
And that was why his people moved to Moba

If you see Ancient Yoruba Artifacts in South Africa from before Oduduwa was born Just know that it was Moba
People who took it there .
They ruled over a String of Islands and were experts in Travelling between Islands in the Atlantic Ocean

Can you see that if you think the History of Lagos Started with Oduduwa in the 10th Century you have not yet began

Yoruba History is a God Given Epic

Who are Lagos natives?.
We know you, you have no history, you have identity crises, your ancenstry still much in doubts. You cannot project You on Us. Listen up, no ibo man can seperate Aworis in Ogun state from an Awori man in Lagos, same for Ijebu in Epe from his brother in Ogun. You talk bullshit, ibo is not an organised culture. Yoruba had an empire, yeah, an empire! that tells you something. Know your level.

Only poor Yorubas complain of Igbos in Western Nigeria. Western Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians equally!

The right of a man from Osun state is not different from a Delta man in Lagos. The advantage you have is that more Yorubas are in Lagos however Igbo dominated areas are always won by Igbos or whoever they support.

When electronic transmission and collation is done, then you'd know the importance of the spread Igbos have over Nigeria

Why are some of you so divisive, insincere and anarchic? Of course Nigeria has regions that are aggregations of close and similar States.

You are the people who have always shouted Biafra. Yet you have changed tune today because of cowardly fear of been booted out of Lagos when you have bragged for decades you will replicate the SE to be better than Lagos if you had autonomous control.

I personally think you are all petrified because you know Tinubu is serious about regional autonomy and, unlike others before him, can deliver it.

You are now sweating profusely because you fear becoming nonenties in Lagos, your favorite cash cow in the universe, under regional autonomy when, to smart and progressive Nigerians, It makes sense to return to it.

Under regionalism, Nigeria worked and was competitive with every region rising to the challenge of using what it has to gain economic growth and development.

Ironically, it was you Igbos, through Ironsi’s unification decree, who landed us with ‘one Nigeria’ because your opportunistic nature made you view ‘unifying’ Nigeria, after the Igbo coup, as the perfect political platform to put the oil wealth of the nation under Igbo control.

Already in 2023, showing Igbo hypocrisy and cynicism is inbred, we see the expected volte-face that is second nature to you lot with how you are now not “going anywhere” and not leaving Lagos “we all built”.

Yet the world would be right to assume you’d be ecstatic over the possibility of gaining regional autonomy and leaving Lagos behind.

Now that freedom beckons you want to remain with others by force and in parasitism when you all should be excited to pack your bags, leave Lagos, and go and transform the SE to be better than Lagos as you have always bragged you’d do once you have freedom to lead yourselves.

It was same regional autonomy you claimed you wanted that cost a civil war which, in reality, was a ruse aimed at disguising your real plans of annexing SS and commandeering her oil wealth under Biafra.

Today your deceit continues. You have disturbed the peace of Nigeria with the violent agitation of IPOB, UGM, ESN etal and made our nation cumulatively more unsafe and less attractive a destination for FDI.

Now, because of fear regional autonomy may permanently move Lagos beyond your reach, a new and contradictory “we all built and own Lagos” fight begins from you confused charlatans.

After following Kanu, Ekpa etal insincerely pretending to uncompromisingly want Biafra, you are now fighting over Lagos when you should be able to make all SE States even better than Lagos given the sales pitch for Biafra was always that others were impeding the SE from becoming one big, Dubai or El Dorado.

Instead, in a shocking show of insincerity,Biafra is forgotten and the new battle is a fight for Lagos the world know you covet more than anything in the world.

Now it appears you ‘developers’ would rather stay fighting for Lagos instead of rising to the challenge of heading home to go and ‘develop’ the SE to be the new Singapore.

In any case, how does this new agitation over Lagos sit with your secession nuisance given that gaining Biafra will mean it will be domiciled in the SE without Lagos?

I’d challenge you lot to make it make sense but I know the simple truth is that there is insincerity and a hidden agenda behind every demand or agitation of Igbos because you lot are greedy/covetous and generally lack integrity, transparency and uprightness.

I laugh when I read the lamentation of igbos daily over Lagos. When that time reach we go see who own what.

The bond between Yorubas goes beyond Lagos or Nigeria.

Coming from an indigene. We honestly do not want Igbos on our land. GVR and his family don't hold any swey in Lagos or its traditional territories. I will rather a Kogi man than an igbo man. Even Hausa better pass. Go figure

Again, mention one governor of Lagos since 1999 thats original from Lagos? You guys are cheating Lagos indigenes in the name of speaking same Language. How many Lagos indigenes have been governor in Osun or Oyo state?

I gave you too much credit. Seems you are actually a stark illiterate. Nothing but a bigot who now wants to divisively subdivide Yorubas into "original from Lagos" and otherwise,ike Chinedu Rhodes Vivour, to suit the crude divide-and-conquer tactics you feel will give you Igbos more clout in Lagos.

As Remi Tinubu proclaimed over Igbo treachery, "we no longer trust you Igbos" so I will give you the free advice to head back to the East and build you Singapore meet Dubai there because it is going to only get worse for Igbo now you have revealed your covetous hand and your real usurpation agenda over Lagos during the last election.

You rash people , who always act hastily, have now taken yourselves back to the period immediately after the civil war when the distrust for "disruptive and covetous" Igbos was very high and remainded so for decades.

Stay online making impotent Nzogbu Nzogbu noise, rather than head to the SE to build your own Lagos there. The 2027 reality, where the few Igbos in office in Lagos will be removed by 'concerted effort', will clear your eyes of any doubt to show you things have changes and that "we no longer trust you Igbos".

You have been put on notice. Keep making noise when those with legislative and executive power like Obasa, below, have already given you explicit warning of what is to come.
