I need an engineer that can fix a Redmi Note 8. The phone went missing for like four months now. Appaz, it was somewhere but I couldn't find it. Screen was bad before it went missing. Battery is swollen too, but when I connected a charger it was blinking on top like it does when it is charging.

I want to fix it tomorrow. Location is Lagos, anywhere on the mainland is preferable.

Please I need a Redmi phone exchange center in Port Harcourt. Any recommendations?

Pains me when I recommend Poco f5 with 12gb ram obviously cheaper than the Redmi note 12 pro plus and offers greater value,and customer would still opt in for the Redmi.
One even told me,Poco is plastic body,I mean, when did we start choosing build over performance?
I would take a plastic black with aluminium frame any day still.

Please how do I upgrade to the latest version of miui without the ota upgrade... @Genius,, I tried downloading the miui 14 as instructed the other time and did exactly what you told me to do but it refused to install

Attached below is the response I get when I choose the downloaded ota package and install manually... Any help rendered would be highly appreciated...

What ROM did you download and share the about phone of your phone. Not receiving updates has nothing to do with unlocked bootloader.

Show me the OTA IT is showing you. You can't be on 13.0.5 and you will be getting OTA of 13.0.3

When you want to install ROM manually you are meant to download the Recovery ROM not OTA.

And the OTA you circled are for those upgrading from 13.0.3 you are on 13.0.5

Why not do an hourly plan on any of MTN or AIRTEL.

ranges from 200 for 2GB, 500 for 5GB and 1000 for 10GB for an hour.

If you are in an area with fast internet it is sufficient. Or you download the file manually and install the update manually.
