immortalcrown:That guy may have voted in this present government. People do not know that they are actually shooting themselves on the foot with their unwise decisions at elections. The me we have now can’t do anything about this evil. Nigeria will not change because we have always been repeating same things at elections. We allow the person that can share the most money and people that corrupt further the police at elections to win |

NairalandForumm:Nobody appreciate the unethical act of the officers but try and be courteous in your response. Every bad thing from any Nigerian, you'll start attributing Tinubu to it. What concerns Tinubu here? We are talking of accumulated moral decadence of which you're not exempted. An average Nigerian is wicked and fraudulent. People want change but they are also guilty of nepotism, cheating, harassment and fraud in their various offices and businesses. Even yahoo boys and online scammers will be shouting they want change but the damage they are doing to the country is unquantifiable. The Nigerian Police should get those men arrested, carry out investigation and if found to be true, they should not only be dismissed but also charged to court. That's the only way we Nigeria Police can be totally cleansed of all these embarrassing atrocities they do commit. |

nlfpmod: Na norm in Nigeria. The truth is that some Nigerians are evil by supporting all these useless rogue leasers. Anytime we decide it's over it will be over. We are more Nigerians than our so called leaders. Hold them accountable not the NPF. |

This is purely armed robbery. And the officers when found should be treated as armed robbers. |

They will react and deny them if you know someone in the police force or at the top or if someone decided to just take it up after reading your post but they will just give u back your money and business will continue as usual, but if those police men don't settle their oga at the top, they are a goner. The reason why I think we keep hearing the same story about police extortion and harassment is because they don't take proper action against the bad ones all because they also do the same thing. |

Here is an idea I have. I'm on the road but yet to acquire the knowledge that's gonna make this possible. Can't we make an app that send a custom or predefined messages on some special media apps on pressing just a button on one's phone alerting the public of the exact location using GPS and an info (not exact) and with a time stamp of cases like this like an incident report? |

Princewell2012:Keeping you there means they will be feeding you. So eat the bread and beans, whilst in there custody, no charges and no action against you. It's even illegal to detain you after 24 hrs. I know that if you have a good partner he or she will find you go police station and report case of missing person. |

Nigeria has happened to the man but very unfortunate, the people that suppose to protect him are the same set of people that robbed him at gun point. That's disgusting and tantamount to armed robbery. With the trace they left behind, they will be caught but I pray justice be served but I hope they will not dwell on the technicality of the incident like our learned judges and justices of the supreme court. |

Another viewpoint. The guy may have cooked up this low level yahoo elaborate scheme because his due rent is not complete and to try to fool his landlord. I noticed there's discrepancies in the times of the transactions. 🧐
