Is it right or wrong for the trainee to kneel before collecting her certificate?

Let’s hear it 🤔
It depends on individual. We show appreciation differently

A trainee can kneel for you today and still collect your customer tomorrow

But one youth who claims he's an ordained pastor can tell a whole congregation full of people old enough to be his grandparents and Great grandparents to go down on their knees and same will be done even while they are wearing wrappers and Agbadas Abi ?

Nonsense wokeness , if you aren't ready to kneel , when you finish learning the Skill , stop going to work with the person, go and open your own shop and start practicing,,, after all you learnt the skill already...

Not to insult anyone, but if you see a problem with this, then there is something fundamentally wrong with you. This new generation with their an obsession with foreign customs and standards.. It's appalling really.

The desire to demonise any of our traditions, customs and norms is just shameful. Especially in the same era when young people in other countries are emancipating themselves from cultural damage done by the Western world. I weep for my country.

The kneeling is secondary.

The training many of them get is not up to standard. That is the problem.

So trainee should disrespect their boss enh.....if you can kneel for your pastor...whats bad if you kneel b4 your boss just to collect your certificate!!!....karma is real though
..but the trainee paid for the training...it was not free training

If the trainee paid for the training it's not right to kneel...the boss did not give the trainee the training for free

It’s called respect in Nigeria. I don't know why, but they said it's our culture, and some people might see you as proud or uncultured if you don't do it.

Anyway, culture or no culture, I think that is still better than a university lecturer asking students to kneel down in the classroom or even beating them as punishment, and nothing will happen.

Respect is reciprocal. How one chooses to show his or her gratitude is personal. If one person kneels to collect certificate and the next one decides not to, it's no big deal. Where it now becomes an issue is if everyone is forced - physically or psychologically - to kneel just because the first person chose to do so.
At the bolded. It's mostly if the first knee, Al will follow suit. That's life for you, it's moved by propaganda.
Re: Is It Right Or Wrong For The Trainee To Kneel Before Collecting Her Certificate? by Blackdisciple(m): 7:22pm On Nov 27, 2023
Why should a trainee kneel before collecting his cert. The cert is he's and he deserves it, a trainee shouldn't even bend down not to talk of kneeling..
Re: Is It Right Or Wrong For The Trainee To Kneel Before Collecting Her Certificate? by Mom007(f): 8:16pm On Nov 27, 2023
Leave them with their kneeling. They like it like that. I remember something that happened many years(about 25) back when I was younger. There was one lady my mom trained in tailoring... back then, they used to call my mom ajebutter tailor because she had a very standard tailoring showroom and doesn't stress her apprentices. Anyway, after the lady's 2yrs, my mom just printed her certificate and handed to her, she said she didn't want to stress her with all the 'bring this and bring that' protocols. My mum learned from a ghana man that didn't make her do all those wahala so she was trying to do the same for her apprentice. Omo... The lady came with her mother to come and beg o... she said that stress is highly necessary and in fact, that picture of her wearing graduation gown and kneeling to collect certificate is very essential as that is what qualifies her to be a tailor and she will also hang it in her own shop cheesy my mom had to agree and told her to go and bring or plan whatever she likes. Omo, last last, it turned to a big party with many guests and kneeling and prayers. So op, leave that matter biko.
