Former president of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was honoured at the just concluded Ojukwu Memorial Ceremony which took place at Owerri, the Imo State Capital.

The spectacular event witnessed a massive turnout with delegations from all over the country. It was a spectacular ceremony with colorful parades, cultural dance troupes, live music, drama, football awards, masquerades, lively speeches and traditional presentations.

Ojukwu still remains the most valuable and respected leader in Nigeria and in Africa. After the Biafra war, he was given a heroic welcome by the Nigerian government. During his burial, he was given a state burial by the Nigerian government. The Nigerian leaders and other African leaders and Nigerian army were saluting his corpse left right and centre. What a brave man Ojukwu was.
