Thank you… I go to Ladipo in the morning to get someone that’ll work it. I hope someone can come with me to Ajah to fix it. 2weeks now e never start.

If you know you were going to Ladipo to get someone to work on it,you shouldn't had bothered scanning and posting the codes here.

Inspect everything that has rubber bushings from your engine mounts, transmission mounts, arms, rack bushings etc, you'll find the culprit.

Thank you I found the culprit

Good evening, I have a 2010 corolla when cruising on motion without power, ir I decide to accelerate aggressively suddenly, there's this knock I feel coming from the transmission.
Any ideas what it could be?

1. It's my thread,
2. It's created for car owners who are at their wits end and are in dire need of scientifically/engineering solutions rather than cut/corners botched jobs.
3. You did NOT pay me a dime to give advise or spend time answering your needs.
4. You did NOT give me a job to do for you, I'm not answerable to you after this rambling.

Whatever!

Did you recently work on the engine?

This looks like a camshaft/crankshaft or coolant sensor palatable.
Visit a competent technician to diagnose and post codes here, so we can solve it.
Re: Tell Us Your Car Fault Lets Assess And Fix Them by chukel(m): 7:51pm On Dec 02, 2023
nurey:

P0020 (crankshaft position actuator bank 2) and P0343 (camshaft position sensor) has to do with your crankshaft and camshaft position sensor which when weak will not send the required signal to the ECM and in turn the ECM will switch off spark and fuel delivery nah the problem of the first brainbox stopping your shocking issues.

P0123 and P2135 is your throttle sensor while P0453 is just emission that one can't cause the non start issue.

You will start your journey from p0020 and p0343, the rewire needs to find the required sensor, trace the wiring for continuity then clean the sensor if it's still same, you may need to replace the sensors with OEM.

Focus more on the P0343 because it can also mean you have timing issues but above all you need a qualified technician not some roadside doddle.
it may be timing issue

Where you wan see dip stick?
Besides, why would you even suggest he starts the car and allow it get warm for a transmission that's already showing signs of going dead?
Cyif2003, Chukel suggested you perform a transmission oil flush. That's your best bet, but now the problem go con be who get the right pump wey go help you flush the system properly.
As advised in a different thread, scan the transmission without starting the car (key in the ignition or push twice for the dashboard lights to come up if equipped with a push to start system). I'm expecting to see some solenoid codes.
Try addressing the code, drain the oil, take out the filter (it has to be done in a clean environment), refill the oil with original Toyota WS oil, perform an oil level check (good luck with that), then go for a test drive.

Good day. Called a gear guy who came and removed d old gear oil and put Another one after cleaning d body nd filter….. coupled it back but it was still having issues. So he used some wires and connected to d gear on d engine and was tapping it on d battery head. This did d magic. My gear is back and by Gods Grace it will remain like this. Thanks all for d advice. I really appreciate

@kingreign the last time I check, I never asked you to give me advice and nobody forces you to do anything concerning my post. Even if it’s your thread, it doesn’t warrant you to talk to ppl just like that nobody eats grass. I posted there because I want someone who can work it out and since there’s nobody to help, I would go ahead and find some other ways to sort things out. It wouldn’t cost you anything to tell me there’s someone on here who can do it instead of me going to Ladipo from Ajah simple as that. Make una no day make life hard. Peace n unity.

Your posting it in my thread makes it automatically clear that you needed my attention and my response. Did I ask or beg you to post it here since your assertion is that you didn't ask for advise from me?

You said it would cost me nothing to post solutions to you but little do you know that I spend over 35k worth of data every week, I stay late till past midnight on a daily reading, researching and answering car related challenges, it cost me my health, my resources, my time and alot more. So don't just type ignorantly.

It may interest you to know that I created this thread freely of my own good will, yet I still charge a token for consultancy offline which you weren't asked to pay that is why you are running your mouth needlessly

This is my last response to you, cos I have much more important things to do and I have a life offline and you do not fund or influence my offline business and life.

I drive a 2006 Corolla.

The car shows no engine light. However, I noticed that on cold startup, the rpm goes high to 2000 and above, and when I drive out on the street, i will have to keep an rpm of over 1000 in the streets. Then 2000 to +3000 on the highway. Then, there was also rough idling. My friend noticed that and told me that the fuel consumption will be high due to the high rpm. I called my mechanic, he scanned it and told me that the Long term fuel trim is +15% whereas it is supposed to be not less than 10%. He advised i should service the nozzle and clean the throttle body. I have done these things. There is no more rough idling. But the rpm is still high, sometimes i have to reve it to 2500-3000 to achieve good speed in the street, not to talk of highway. I told my mechanic, he said I should check the fuel delivery - fuel pump and filter. Are we on the right track on this?

I also noticed that when i turn the key to start the vehicle, i hear a click but the car wont crank on the first try. But then, it will start on the second try. This started after I cleaned the throttle body. Its a new battery just bought in October. I also changed kick in January this year. The Alternator was serviced in October too. No battery light is showing, so I dont know what this is.

Your LFT should be in the negative regions if you have high fuel consumption. Regardless of the numbers, kindly scan the car and replace your throttle body if there's code related to it for peace of mind.

Thank you bros. I hope to meet up with the mechanic this weekend to scan the car again. The throttle body seems clean the last time we opened it. Save for few carbon build up at the back of it, it looks stainless clean from the outside.

2006 Toyota has drive by wire system sir/ma. The idle control system is incorporated into the the throttle body and electronically controlled unlike what you posted.

2006- date corolla does not use cable throttle. It use ECTS-i which eliminated the need for an IACV system as shown in your diagram.
