ABUJA TO LAGOS ON VALUEJET
I flew on Valuejet Airline from Abuja to Lagos on their Bombardier CRJ-900 Aircraft, Valuejet is a new airline that commences flight operation on 10th October, 2022 with flights to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Asaba and Jos. The Airline was founded in 2018 by Kunle Soname, the Chairman of the sports betting website Bet9ja and owner of Portuguese football club C.D. Feirense
Overall, it was an excellent flight and I'm looking forward to flying with them again.

You stand a better chance if you are self sponsored. They don't even look at account statements. Just go with yours.

If your child is American then you already know the process. You need one date. Fill your ds 160 then go to your portal and update the Info. If you encounter any challenges then go to the other group and ask questions. You will get a faster response.

Next day you can hike to Hollywood Sign and by evening, walking down Sunset Boulevard.

Next day, rent a surf board and join the people surfing before sunrise (5am-6am) at Santa Monica Beach. By afternoon, rent a bicycle and ride from Venice Beach to Santa Monica trying loads of dishes and food.

By evening time, jump on a whale and dolphin watching tours ship at Redondo Beach.

If you are into clubbing, there are tons of dive bars everywhere, but Inglewood has more bars for blacks. Anytime from 3pm is fantastic.

Indulge in Spanish food as there are food trucks and very good Mexican restaurants everywhere.

1. Is being vaccinated against Covid 19 compulsory? Yes (as of the time of typing this)

2. Can I bring along foodstuffs such as yam flour, grounded egusi, crayfish and ogbono, and gari ? Yes you can, as long as they are all ground/blended, placed in ziplocs, and labeled appropriately

3. is my i-20 and my admission letter okay at Poe? Yes

4. will $2000 be sufficient as a BAT for the poe agent. ? Yes

I just wanted to add that you don’t necessarily need to use Ziploc bags. Any regular plastic bag will do. Labeling is also not necessarily needed

POE differs. The best is to be prepared for anything.

I'm planning on going on vacation during with my children during their midterm break in Feb, as Easter won't be possible due to obligations at home and work.
A friend is telling me that we might be turned back at POE because the kids are believed to be in session and it might look as if we have immigrant intent.
Anyone had any issues with similar circumstances at POE?
