Anger As FG Agencies Sign MoU In Dubai

Some social media users are currently tackling the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

This was after both agencies announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday.

In pictures shared on Social Media by REA, Ahmad Salihjo, REA CEO and Khalil Halilu, NASENI CEO, can be seen signing the MoU and posing with the documents.

This signing was done in the UAE during the ongoing Conference of Parties (COP28).

The agencies, among other things, announced the MoU’s objectives are to collaborate towards electrification of rural and underserved areas in Nigeria, share knowledge, data and information related to rural electrification and promote the use of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and biomass in rural electrification.

Following the post, some Nigerians began to knock both agencies for not signing the agreement in Abuja, where their headquarters are.

Looks like scatter gun approach at the moment. There is so much lack of direction in governance.

6 months after swearing in, so many travels with large delegation NO clear economic plan to revitalize the ailing economy. Huge disappointment.

So local agencies went to Dubai to sign the MoU with themselves. Not with possible investors that came for the meeting but with themselves.... Things we see and hear in our country. What a brouhaha

The proud and arrogant man called Tinubu who thinks he knows it all, is busy doing nothing, no clear economic plan, he is busy meeting all the ants and elephants of the world yet nothing to show.

Empty man..... this man would go down in history as the worse president in the world.

Believe me nothing will come out of this use govt.

I have no problem with where the MOU is signed. If they like they can go to heaven and sign it. My problem is the deception. Most times, these MOUs leads to nothing.

Jobless fools just looking for anything to wail and cry about. What matters is that the MOU becomes productive and executed properly. Where it is signed is inconsequential.
There could be logical reasons as to why they decided to sign it while in Dubai but trust our wailing wailers, they will be blind to real issues they should complain about but wail and cry about inconsequential rubbish.

Ala nwanyi Asaba cannot possibly be as sweet as the wasteful comedy production governance in Nigeria has become under the APC! The president has no control over his own cabinet, as govt officials keep rubbing their continued wastage of the country's resources in the faces of the suffering masses! No govt official under OBJ would dare be this stupid and expect to keep his position after. But for this party, expect to hear some @$$wipe defend this international embarrassment to the Nigerian people who are already too weak from hunger to argue back! grin

Tinubu was not aware he had so much baggage to DUBAI. probably facilitated by his overzealous son seyi. After the outcry, everyone has been asked the reason for coming. That is why these ones are smiling over plain sheets.
