You don check Lagos debt? And the revenue and see how dubai , Johannesburg and co look like? And wonder why 5th largest economy in africa isn’t beautiful?
You say committed to quality? Which Lagos ?”
Lagos Wey I know? You been to abuja? You don see abuja roads? Or Uyo ?

Which Lagos abeg tell me. The smallest state in Nigeria been doing roads for ages, streets still have bad roads.
I know Lagos in and out. Got properties there. So no come argue with me, the roads and streets are terrible, 25 years into democracy and Tinubu dynasty

LAGOS SHOULD HAVE 80-90 percent world class roads and neat, BINS everywhere like abroad. Streets all world class and bins everywhere too. Air pollution will be minimal.

Yet dey collect massive loans and do 5 percent, it get bad another one come do 5 percent, keep going.

We should stop praising these armed criminals, all of them, the 36 states plus president.

No tribal war, or religious war, we should demand a LEE OF SINGAPORE or DENG Of China incarnate.
Re: Alapere Pedestrian Bridge Collapses As Truck Rams It by bibelo: 7:10am On Dec 08, 2023
The Lagos State government should impound the truck and prosecute both the driver and the owner to serve as a deterrent to others. This same thing happened over a decade ago at the ilasa bridge when a truck carrying huge metal beams damaged the pedestrian bridge. Also the pedestrian bridge at the agric bustop In ikorodu was also damaged by a reckless truck 2yrs ago with the bridge yet to be fixed

You are right to some extent but what are other state government doing that is putting unnecessary pressure on Lagos .Also it's people like you and I that are littering and openly defecating all around. People openly throwing thrash from their ac cars on to road that has just been swept which they won't do once they cross MMIA

Read again, put bins everywhere, as it is here, even at people still throw thing here but it’s minimal, but there are bins, in my street alone here, I can count 10.

As for Lagos, Lagos should not be compared to even Abuja, talk less other states, na shame if you compare Lagos to Anambra or Osun, or Abia, big shame to Lagos as a whole. Lagos is the commercial capital of Nigeria and arguably the whole of Africa, just as London is to England and to the whole of Europe. Same as Shanghai to china.

Lagos suppose dey compared to these cities,

And Dubai, Johannesburg, etc no be other states for Nigeria, na big shame na former capital, where 85-90 percent of not more of headquarters dey, homes to africa largest human work force, home to 7 unicorn tech companies and various companies, business, and africa largest sea port.

You see the the CV.

And mind you, immigrants made London, Dubai, Singapore, and outsiders also made Lagos, indigenous people cant do it alone. Kudos to the immigrants.

The bridge isn't low ,I have been there and drive through that spot a lot, the truck must have miscalculated by underestimating the height of it's load instead of using a low flatbed truck. I witnessed one truck damage a pedestrian bridge coming from the apapa port years ago.its not everyone driving a vehicle has their brains intact.

Even create bins in the middle of third mainland bridge so you can slow down and throw gala and chips wrapper in it?
Normal road on your street you will see people throw spoilt cd plates from their cars to the road. Will the trash harm them in the car if it stays in their car till they get home or work where there are bins?
Is like you don't drive in Lagos ,when government clamp down on traffic hawkers it's people like you that will say they are being denied a means of livelihood but all what they sell are usually dumped on the roads which has been swept. We are all need to change our mentality. The people should share part of the blame

Rivers, delta state that has the capacity to compete lagos but are busy sharing money amongst themselves should not be compared with Lagos?
Federal government give them huge allocation and yet many abandon project in those state.
Lagos is on the right track, with massive demolition and locking of event centers, very soon many houses in rural areas will be marked for demolition and many sub standard market shut down for reconstruction.. market like alaba int market. I hope you wont come here to scream government are wicked! bla.. bla bla.
