FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu today presented the Year 2024 Budget Estimates of N2.2Tr to the Lagos State House of Assembly christened: “Budget of Renewal”.

TOTAL BUDGET: N2.2 TR

CAPITAL: N1.224TR (55%)

RECURRENT: N1.02TR (45%)

2023 BUDGET PERFORMANCE: The Year 2023 Budget will achieve 90% Budget Performance by the end of December 2023.

EDUCATION - N199B

HEALTH - N156B

ENVIRONMENT - N94B

PUBLIC ORDER AND SAFETY - N84B

SOCIAL PROTECTION - N50B

Governor sanwo-olu should pay and add National Union of Lagos Student (NULASS) to every yearly budget.

Thousands of student graduate without getting paid while some receive only 100 Level payment.

In fact the kind of massive embezzlement going on in Lagos scholarship board will require all alumni to come together for peace talk before

Lagos should budget up to 4 trillion naira, and use the excess to stretch development to other southwestern states.
