I don't want to hear petrol is still partially being subsidized in this country after all these increments as we have not taken to the streets for protests against these increments recently. No more subsidies please as you're allowing the market to determine its price ,so there must be no stories later of subsidies being paid. Another thing, we only hear when the crude oil price is at the lowest but when it increases , there's no effect on the life of a common man in Nigeria . It's a mixed feeling. 19 Likes 1 Share |

Incompetent, corrupt, confused and clueless Socialist government. Instead of thier greedy mind to be satisfied with removing SUBSIDY and using the money to fix electricity before increasing D tariff by 120%. They decided to do both at same time while simultaneously increasing tax on citizens. Not surprised anyways, D CBN Governor is confused & the minister of finance is looking for the next country to ask for loan 5 Likes

Has anyone noticed that the government is trying hard to soft pedal on many of their strong headed decisions ever since the #endsars protest was ignominably terminated by this same government? Agreeing to re-open the border, to suspending the PHCH tarriff hike, reducing the import duty on passenger vehicles come 2021 and now this? If this sudden newfound listening ear or softness is due to the reality slapped back into their head by that suprise protest or is due to their attempt to patronise or con Nigerians ahead of 2023, I can't say. But one thing is sure, even if they go as far as slashing their bogus salaries by half, it won't change the truth that Nigerians now know: the truth that the politicians are their greatest enemy. And that if the youths mean business, the will utilize every non-violent arsenal available to them including national and international pressures to finish every one of these politicians. Nothing the politicians do now is going to change that mindset nor earn them forgiveness from Nigerians. 6 Likes |
