Kukutente23:So despite the fous subsidy removal, NNPC is yet to be remmiting oil revenue FX to the federation. Who do us this thing sef, we are not paying subsidy and we are still not earning oil revenue despite heavy debts andore borrowing by Tinubu. |

🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️ I've always mentioned that 80% of the economic problems we are facing in Nigeria has been created by the obscure happenings in NNPC .. Right from the Buhari administration Kyari single-handedly decided everything that happens in NNPC, without any questions or oversight from any body of authority since his Minister was the dull, inept, clueless Buhari, and with a rubber-stamp national assembly that worshipped Buhari, we the citizens were just left to suffer and pay for the mismanagement of our Petroleum sector by this same Kyari. Tinubu came & retained him for selfish reasons since his companies benefited from the subsidy scam and Kyari also facilitated the purchase of a dying Oando Oil company which is majorly owned by the Tinubu people. Whenever NNPC is probed, what Emefiele did in CBN will be kindergarten in nature compared to the monumental corruption in NNPC.. Under Kyari, when oil producing countries we're laughing to the bank, he makes sure we in Nigeria are crying❗️❗️❗️😡😡😡 1 Like |

Nigeria to dollar isn't suppose to be more than 200 naira. This is no longer stealing or corruption but colonialism by powerful groups and people. |

Simple data analysis of headlines already gave me the hint 3 months back. First month, you saved N1Tr, second third fourth and fifth month, you are still saying accumulated savings is N1.5Tr instead of around N5Tr. “In August, additional revenue from 40 per cent profit of Production Sharing Contracts and the interim yearly dividend were reflected in the accounts. However, these were not as high as what the gains from removing the gasoline subsidy should have been. Given that petrol pump prices have not changed in line with market fundamentals (notably exchange rate movements and global oil prices), there is a risk that the implicit fuel subsidy has reemerged, potentially keeping net oil revenues lower than expected.” |

Kukutente23: Smdh, the World Bank has been able to recognize that corruption within the procedure and structure of NNPC is extreme and abnormal, even by Nigerian standards. |

raddyworld: Oga, then why do we still have a country? If you claim nobody in the world can solve Nigeria's problem then let's dissolve the country, how would you as a human being be proud of owning a country that you know will always get worse for your children? Does it make any sense to you ? If a company is always making loss is it not better you dissolve it? Same with a country, so for you to say this then why do we have a country if the country is only existing to keep getting worse, the way you people talk sometines in trying to defend nonsense... Sometimes I get so ashamed sharing the same country with people like you, so because Tinubu cannot do it then it means nobody in the world can do it That's an insult to the entire human race.... 1 Like 1 Share |

Everyone is aware of this before now that NNPCL conduct its activities in shady manners. Despite this, the current administration, unfortunately, yet found the man, Kyari, deemed worthy of another term to continue the lootings for obvious political reasons. |
Re: NNPCL Not Transparent On Subsidy, Dollar Revenues – World Bank by nairalanda1(m): 9:05am On Dec 14, 2023 |
The only way you can guarantee transparency in subsidy is by removing it completely. Subsides always lend themselves to corruption. That is why they have never been really opposed by the elite ..to them it is just another means of siphoning off money from the collective treasury. And that is why APC, like all the others , is keeping a subsidy. Meanwhile, remove the subsidy, force NNPC to work for its money, and corruption would vanish in seconds. Transparency would suddenly be premium. But Nigerians love N40 fuel. Anyway, it's not my job to force them to face reality. |

When we told world bank thst nothing good will come out from subsidy removal they call is names. Suffer now and enjoy later. This was not the first time subsidy was removed l. It was reintroduced due to inflation. Similar thing has happened under tinubu. One reason NNPC boss is still the chairman today only means him And the presidency have sealed a secret deal. Anybody still putting hope on tinubu it only compounds the redemption of the topical black mind. Black people IQ is little above orangutan |

But some dingbats here said it’s not corruption that is causing dollar shortage but importation When one person steals as much as millions in dollars and thousands of others in ministries, agancies…the day the govt is ready to stabilize dollar,he knows where to start. |

Kukutente23: God bless Sanusi Lamido Sanusi! He has been the one person who has been calling out the NNPC and exposing the corruption in that entity. He did it when he was CBN governor, but the clueless and dumb former president Goodluck Jonathan sacked him for exposing the rot. In fact, the Nigerian economy and Naira exchange rate began a free fall after the clueless Jonathan sacked Sanusi and brought in Emefiele, the most useless CBN governor in Nigeria. Sanusi was able to maintain a stable exchange rate of around N150-N160 to the dollar in 2014. Today, the naira is now N1,200 to the dollar, no thanks to the useless CBN governor that Jonathan imposed on us, and the equally useless and dumb economic policies of the APC governments of Buhari and Tinubu. Thank God Sanusi has been consistent: he has been speaking even under this dumb APC govts of Buhari and forger Tinubu. 2 Likes |
