Solid! Reliable network!! Only that this is not USA where the primary mobile network is CDMA. Here it is GSM. Multilinks folks misread the market and based their business projections on that error. The Gbongan born promoter of Multilinks bit the dust!!! And to think MTEL should be reaping the benefit of our Telecoms market! Corruption did us in with the MTEL and government topguns pandering to MTN of South Africa who knew corruption to be our underbelly and put the knife in there and solidly too!

We wud call babes back then when calls were per minute billing. N50 per minute. So expensive back then. You’ll be checking your time to make sure it doesn’t cross 59 seconds.
Multilinks to Multilinks calls wer free but the hot babes had MTN or Vmobile (now Airtel lines) so one had to pay to call them.
But those sweet babes wer worth it.

Multilinks. Bought one for myself and another one for a friend. Whenever am going out late, from 10:30 p.m. upward i drop my other phones at home, and go out with that funny looking ultra-slim multilinks.

The First phone I used my money to buy. The phone is good. It has a loud speaker.

Visafone too. I don't think those phone networks had any mast site during their time. How they manage to connect wonder me, though, their connection are poor.

Lie , no multilink in the year 2001/2002... Multilink should be around 06-10...Multilink came same time as Vodafone and other CDMA.
In 2001/2002, we are talking about nitel and phone boots.MTN was selling for 100k as at that time and only the very rich own one
