Whose fault? This is what happens when you don't have a working system. Whenever a new recruit is to join the company, he is onboarded. When he is leaving, he is unboarded. The u boarding process ensures he submits his ID card and every company property under his care, while the HR does his part by removing him from the system payroll. So what happened in this case? At what point was their account number still left in the system to keep receiving salary inflow. On the other hand, what is the job of auditors? What is the job of the account general of the state? Is internal audit not carried out from time to time? What exactly are the internal auditors being paid to do ? Chai, we still have a very long way to go in this country. Naija na cruise jare. Everyone doing everything possible to keep fleecing the system to their own advantage. God dey. |

I really hope this is not true because EFCC should be on their matter by now. This brings back the bill to stop the immediate post-graduation transfer of skills acquired with tax payers money https://www.nairaland.com/7646704/5-years-before-going-abroad 1 Like 1 Share |

sexiestharam: One of the Dumbest and Brainless comment i have seen in Nairaland!. NO MEDICAL DOCTOR SUFFERS ABROAD. They were only taking advantage of the loopholes and using the money to sort need of their Nigeria family, friends and relatives. They can't even convert the money cos it will become a peanut. No doctor earns less than £100 pounds daily in UK. YOU THINK IS EVERYWHERE THEY HAVE BRAINLESS GOVERNMENT and USELESS LEADERS LIKE IN NIGERIA? Do you know is even high percentage of the japa people that are even helping Nigeria economy... they make money abroad and send to Nigeria for investment and powering their respective family. They are contributing to the growth of Nigerian, while Nigeria contributes nothing to them. Check by this festive season and see what is happening in the South-East and the South-West when people are back from abroad for Xmas and new year celebration. YOUR BRAIN IS VERY LOW! |

olaadesino: But on a second thought, I informed you that I am resigning, tendered my resignation letter and left, nothing was done in secret ,.then you still went ahead to credit my account at the end of every month and I am to be blamed ? How ? The doctors might not even be aware of what is going on as they might no longer be using their Nigerian bank account and also might not be receiving credit alert due to change of phone number. |

Majority of the rot you see in Nigeria is caused by those who feed from the same Government, same people whom are paid with public funds are the worst of them all. In private sector, the day you leave is the day your salary and entitlement ends. In public sector, fellow citizens cheat the system for their own selfish interest. A lot of government workers both federal and states who have japa pretended to their employers that they are on study leaves. So they collect salary in Nigeria and use it to support their stay abroad. |

Objectivist04:The way u guys are justifying nonsense its quite pathetic.Any doctor who is still receiving salary after Japa did it on purpose. They did not resign officially, if they did their salary will stop. They make arrangement with their boss in the hospital or department to split the salary. 1 Like |
