Same here too. I don't eat chickens. I wanted to buy 2 chickens for my kids yesterday. The price really pissed me off. We are quick to blame the government.
Luckily a friend sent 3 cockerels and 2 Guinea fowls today.

For my side here in Edo State Chicken are sold from 8k to 12k while goat is sold from a range of 45k Ram 80k Cow 380k most people here real Chicken for Christmas so the price normally reduce before Christmas Eve our only problem here is Rice which cost 51k to 62k...

you are just ignorant, why not go and price a bag of chicken feed and then maybe you will still be ignorant enough to type this. Poultry farmers have not been having it easy with the high cost of feed, with almost daily increase in cost of feed so you should know that there will be a ripple effect on the price of chicken.
