imagine me engaging in painting yesterday to make ends meet and one small boy was insulting me.

Bro, I have encountered same too.

During COVID-19 era in 2020, followed my Guy who is a Painter, to one of his Painting Job.

Without any warning, he gave me Handglove, Roller Brush, and Bucket of Paint to paint a Particular building.🤨

When the Contractor of the Project came in the Evening, he was like 'Who be this Novice, abi Apprentice'?

I Just Weak and Wished I learned these Things earlier.😕

But that can NEVER make University or Higher institution Education be a Waste! 😏🙂

exactly what happened here.
My friend told me to come assist him in painting, I don't have any knowledge of painting but cos I needed money I had to obliged, at the end my work was full of flaws, a young salesboy of around 19 years working for the oga told me he will not pay me money if I don't do a perfect work, he compared my work with that of my friend's and insulted me, I was like ah see me that was a celebrity in UNIBEN, I've now been relegated to trash after graduation.
Omo tears wan commot for my eyes.
Like you said, no education is a waste, at least I'm still hopeful one day it will worth it.
Though I deeply regret not learning skills before I gained admission

The only entry level job that pays millions exists in the oil and gas industry. Access Bank pays entry staff very well by Nigerian standards. Before Covid, it was 250K per month. It should be over 300K now.

I used to feel that those organizations were discriminating but they may be right even if I wasn't privileged to attend any of those universities.
I issued a query to a team member recently and she couldn't write her response in proper tenses in a mail.
I told her to rewrite again like a graduate but still the same result.
Eventually she submitted her appraisal form and I saw the institution she finished from and I wasn't surprised.

Standard graduate trainee recruitment pays that amount. It is not a branch affair.
