I use to say it to anambra people in Lagos, imolite are more educated, civilized and relate with other region compared to other southeast states.

I think this is as a result of the investment made in Education during the tenure of Owelle Rochas Okorocha before he went south, building statues upandan. Investments made in Education may not bear immediate results, but there will always be a long-term returns on the investment.

There are different ways to measure education. Most literate is one metric, and it measures the spread of basic education. The proportion of individuals with higher education is another way to measure it.

Now we may not have the stats but from observation, it seems reasonable to suggest that the Yorubas, and to some extent, the South Southerners, particularly of Edo and Delta, may be the leaders when it comes to higher education.

It might as well mean that high illiteracy equates to high prostitution rate.
