Wayne Rooney has been relieved off his duties as the Birmingham manager following his recent run of poor results the club has recorded since his appointment as the club's manager.

He [Rooney] has taken to his social media page to announce this and has also wished the best for Birmingham City going forward.

According to him, 13 weeks were not enough to do achieve what he needed to achieve with the club but he is grateful for the opportunity and will spend more time with his family while waiting for another opportunity as a manager.
