Al-Nassr striker, Sadio Mane has continued his generosity towards his home village, Bambali in Senegal, Newspremises has gathered.

The 31-year-old officially inaugurated Stade de Bambali, a newly built stadium in his home village on Wednesday, 3rd of January 2024.

This comes one year and six months (June 2022), when he was seen playing with his friends on a mud pitch in Bambali, while on holiday.

Mane previously spent over £700,000 to build essential infrastructure like a hospital, school, post office, and petrol station, transforming the community.

The former Liverpool star recalled the absence of a hospital when his sister was born, a situation that fueled his desire to provide hope by constructing one.

He did not only invested in physical structures but also facilitated education by providing laptops and $400 to the highest-achieving students at Bambali High School.

Additionally, Mane supported each family with €70 monthly and ensures access to 4G internet.

During a visit home in June 2022, Mane played football with former Premier League stars on a muddy pitch in Bambali.

Within a year and a half, he revamped this pitch into a modern mini stadium, recently inaugurated as the Stade de Bambali, a gift to the village.

Despite his move to Al-Nassr from Bayern Munich for €30 million, where he now partners with Cristiano Ronaldo, Mane continues his impactful contributions.

He has scored 12 goals for Al-Nassr this season, making 39 shots, 20 of which were on target, and maintained a pass completion rate of 74%.
