First off, I don't know if the blogger that posted this video is just trying to play a race card here.. there's no confirmation that the owner of the Wi-Fi is Nigerian!

Secondly, if you've lived abroad, or in the UK specifically, you'll understand that this old man would have done the same to another white man; so, he didn't do this because the owner of the Wi-Fi is black or Nigerian. The old people that are not in care homes with other seniors or pensioners behave this way many times that it just appears they're not reasoning logically...all just signs of old age! And everyone gets old, white or black!!

Same thing almost caused problem between my younger Bro and his neighbors. Although they weren't bold enough to confront him about it.

But you could see the hostility in their attitude after he changed his password. You could feel how they started acting/seeing him like he was a bad person.

When he started sharing his Wi-Fi with neighbors I just dey look am say what is wrong with this one. Because I knew it wouldn't end well.

In this life... I repeat, just never start what you cannot finish!
I have learnt something about humans , once you bring them close in the name of helping them, you have just opened door for see finish.
Trust me, the end will not be palatable.

My experience:
A lady and her 3 children approached my wife for help. Obviously they had accommodation challenge.
The husband took them to his village from Portharcourt but she left without his consent.

So they arrived, we accommodated them, fed them and all.
They were with us for 2 months plus, even though they pleaded for just 2 weeks for the children to write their exams and then they would go.

They were not ready to leave , no sign of leaving.
Well we were ready to leave them in the apartment as we were already planning to move to our house.

They left the same week we moved.

Long story short, God is my witness, right now, these guys will see us on the road and will never do like they know us.

No greetings, no exchange of pleasantries no nothing.

It's very amazing.
I am really wondering what is running in their mind sha.

Well,we just did our own for God.

My resolution:
Help People from afar.
Give them whatever you can to help them.

If you bring them close, whatever your eye sees na you sabi.

E get one guy for the compound wey be say from afar, you will think say na better person as in good Christian.
The guy dey blast tongue every night.

We no know say the guy na better oshomo gbomo gbin..
He would always totori all the teenagers living with him.

It was one of them that told my wife about the man's escapades with her.

This is one of the disadvantages of bringing people close to you.
No secrets.

All your doings na for street you go dey hear the debates.

I would rather live with my wife and children alone.

I swear down, the UK racist people with their racist government would have put that Nigerian guy on CNN and BBC if it was the Nigeria guy using his WiFi without his knowledge.

Shockingly, their court system ll send the Nigerian guy to jail for this.

WiFi bandwidth is limited, it is the continuous usage that is unlimited as long as you pay your bill each month.

The guy even confirmed it, saying his WiFi is very slow.

That said, it is foolish to open your WiFi network for others to use, as everything good/bad they are doing on the internet would be traced to you, don’t be surprised if the government knocks on your door to answer some questions about your internet activities.

Best practices, change the administrative name & password, make the SSID unrelated to you, put a strong encryption and a password; then create a guest network with its own password for guest and change the guest password on a periodic bases.

These would reduce the possibility of hacking or impersonation.

That's what happens when you become a second class citizen in a pale man's country. Imagine the nonsense. You're tapping into my WiFi network and you can still sue me for trespassing into your wall? What an arrant nonsense?! Nansense an ingredient

Elderly man confronts his Nigerian neighbor in UK for changing his Wifi password and restricting him from using the internet after two years.

This was posted by Linda Ikeji's blog and it's making rounds the internet and generating criticisms online.
Leaving WIFI connections on without any password or periodic change of passwords is a security risk. Those of us who are tech-savvy know that already. Period.

It's a volatile mix of emotional pain and envy. People who are NOT self-aware envy others because they can't have or don't have what others already possess.
