My WiFi is heavily passworded... I can't share it except with my family members. I hate people who feel overly entitled

How did the old man get his wifi password to begin with? Or did the Nigerian guy give it to him, and then decided to change it after two years?

Nigeria bloggers are not very smart. Terrible accents, poorly spoken English, little or no investigative journalism. Copy and paste.

We have a problem with prejudice ... we must fit every situation into the tribal/race box .... religious box .... gender box ... political box or nationality box then build our opinion on that. This has nothing to do with any of this .... but everything to do with age. This is pretty much normal behavior of the elderly ..... even if the wifi owner was White and the Commissioner of Police ... the complaint would've been the same. Whoever blocked his wifi needs to restore it .... why it was blocked doesn't matter.

What if the old white guy was using the free internet to download strange and unacceptable stuffs??

You shouldn’t be letting strangers use your WiFi for anything.
He could be using to scam or download child porn

Home broadband is uncapped, but mobile data generally has data limits.

Unlimited mobile plans are quite expensive.

Is that what will now give you audacity to confront someone because he puts security password on his WiFi
Most especially when you have never at one point or the other told him that you're benefiting from him

Data is never free anywhere in the world. Over there subscription is subscription, 8f you sub a month plan, then you have a whole month of Internet access. Not like one dead country where a month plan is 2 weeks plan (that's if e reach 2 weeks self).
All these network providers knows that Nigerians can't do without Internet, that's why they are using the full country to catch cruise and there's no competition among the network providers.
