We didn't feel the impact of the BPE in last 8 years. There are so many government assets to privatize, commercialize, concession and sell, yet BPE could not achieve anything. For me sef, BPE and Nigeria Infrastructure Regulatory Commission should be merged. Among the assets a merged organisation should sell, commercialize and concession are:

Government NIPP Power Plants
Federal Secretariat, Ikoyi Lagos
Old Defence HQ, Race course Lagos
Newly constructed international airports (Lagos, Abuja, Kano, PH)
Nigeria Railway Corporation (separate company to mange tracks and another to manage locomotives)
Nigerian Television Authority (restructured as a legal corporate entity- if Channels and Arise can survive, why not NTA)

He took British American Tobacco (BAT) to court over unfair marketing tactics against smaller competition through his agency FCCPC and won over $110m compensation from BAT.

Based on current exchange rate, it's over N120B and has been claimed by British American Tobacco to be fully paid.

The FCCPC V/C - CEO should rather be given a higher responsibility for this landmark achievement.

Take it from me, Tinubu is a no nonsense man, he doesn’t suffer fools gladly. I worked in Lagos civil service and lived with his late son Jide in London for years. He denied Jide several opportunities and did not sponsor his wedding because he considered him “unmaketable”.
I just laugh when people post unsubstantiated claims about Tinubu and some media outlets help in spreading it. I’m glad Nigerian’s are getting to know the man themselves

I am inclined to agree. Irukera has spearheaded a number of essential reforms in the consumer protection sector.

Baba is not happy about that particular achievement. He is their (BAT)customer dada😀😀😀

Tunde Irukera empowered Chinese owned loan sharks in Nigeria and did some eye service arrests when pressure was on him to rescue Nigerians from their claws in 2020 to 2022. He deserved to be sacked for the way he handled the issue of loan sharks and the way they misused consumers' datas.

Sacking someone that is more valuable than himself, someone who can help build the Zoo up. He must be high on white stuff again..
