This info was updated yesterday. When i gave my biometrics on sep 6th, it was 111 days. So if the processing time changed to 500 days today, i dont have to consider i fall under the current processing time, because i did not submit my application today.

Which of the information was updated yesterday according to your text?

Fam, I submitted a microfinance bank statement of account for visitor's visa.
Though it's for my salary and also owned by my employer.
Is there hope of approval?

A friend submitted a microfinance bank statement of account for student visa and the application was refused with reason that money in microfinance can't be moveable, maybe yours is visiting application, however what I still dont understand is why asking the question when the application had been submitted. Sometimes lucky play a part roles at individual application. So pray and hope .

You need to state all your past refused applications, either to US ,Canada, UK or any other country, the refused has nothing to do with visa approved or not but have everthing to do with your application ban for period of 5yrs for not stating that you had been refused a visa before . If you applied now for visiting and you didn't state all past refusals but withdraw the application now.

Hello, good afternoon.

Please what to do if a Canadian visitor's visa has been granted but you discovered that past UK refusal was not disclosed during the application process? The application was processed by an agent.
All other documents were current and valid.

Thank you in anticipation of kind your responses.

Same here my folks did their bio-metrics Tuesday 2nd and the tracker shows eligibility complete for both profiles Jan 8th...their US visa is expired tho. Fingers crossed for a positive update.

[quote author=sos404 post=127867995]@mojisolani. thank you as I have said I am not sure if it’s 3 or 2 times us refusal, I am sure of 2 and secondly I do have South Africa Visa on my old passport, but was refused SA visa when I wanted to go again in 2017 on the same old passport, do I have to mention that as well.? I thought Canada only have eyes on the big 4, us,uk,new zealand and Aussie. Can u clear me on that?

[/quote you can just state that A,B and C visa refused in the past, you do not need to state how many times.

Hello everyone, I need some advice regarding my TRV. Our lawyer kept delaying our application, so we decided to apply for other countries visa this Monday as we want to travel during the upcoming Chinese holidays. Unfortunately, our lawyer submitted our application yesterday and we received a request for biometric data the same day. However, we don't have our passports with us at the moment. Is it possible to provide biometric data without a passport by presenting other forms of identification? Thank you for your help.

First, you need your passport to complete the biometrics.

Second, you have 30 days from the date you got the BIL to submit your biometrics at the VAC.

The question is, how long will your current visa application take before you retrieve your passport?

My Suggestions:

1. Cancel the application you submitted on Monday, retrieve your passport and book your biometrics with VFS.

2. Book your biometrics towards the end of the 30 days deadline, wait for your passport to come and go for your biometrics. Interestingly, you can cancel the current appointment and rebook an earlier date if your passport return quickly enough.

These are my thoughts, let's wait for others to chip in.

The processing time is just a formality because those who did biometrics in the first week of September 2023 have yet to receive decision notifications. Even some of the applicants who did biometrics in August 2023 are still waiting for decision notices.

Now I think IRCC is back to its normal old days when applications took ages before being processed.

You can request a new "biometric instruction letter" if you're unable to do the biometrics within the 30-day deadline.

All you need to do after the deadline is send a request through the webform to IRCC.

I did this for one of my juniors in August 2023.

A formality...yes but they also consider some factors when processing your application. They want to be sure you'd return after your visit to their country. If they discovered you've been to the USA a couple of times and had returned within the permissible time, or you hold a passport of some respected countries, you're most likely to have your visa processed much faster, irrespective of the processing time stated on their website.

In terms of infrastructure, life, beauty and things that could discourage you from returning to Nigeria, America has it more. Canada only needs people to fill their job vacant positions and grow their economy.

Hello Fam, just like I said earlier, I finally submitted this application yesterday, and did my biometrics by 9:30am today and received update for completion of Biometrics enrollment few minutes ago, I took note of some of the corrections you people pointed out for me before submitting, so I'll now wait patiently until whenever they have any decision for me and I'll keep y'all posted on whatever outcome I get, fingers crossed, thanks for your insights brethren, all the best in your applications too.

MY family Canada visitor visa was approved from london Uk and we are on a UK student visa

Wife and two kids Application submitted on August 31, 2023 AND 5 years visitor approval September 15, 2023 ( just 10 business days )
Mine - Application submitted on September 27, 2023 AND 10 years visitor approval October 25, 2023 ) ( 22 business days )

Both of us acknowledged our U.S A. denials in 2017 and 2019. Initially, I failed to declare mine, prompting me to withdraw the application. Subsequently, I submitted a new application after completing a webform disclosing both the U.S. refusal and the cancellation of the initial application. In total, I submitted two webforms – the first addressing the U.S. refusal and the second addressing the application cancellation. Following that, I proceeded to submit a new application on September 27, 2023.

We spent two weeks in Canada and have now returned to the UK.

So you can wait it out, Or just cancel the application using a webform and reapplying again immediately

good luck

Congratulations, the last web form I sent, I was told they have forwarded my documents to the appropriate application centre for assessment. They asked me to contact the London Embassy through a link. Unfortunately when I clicked the link, it’s still old same shii asking me to track the status of my application online. My major concern is when I tried to track my application using the UCI, it says the information I have entered doesn’t match anything on their record or my name doesn’t correspond with what is on my passport page. I’m just in dilemma right now.

I received the same response as yours, except that I can track my application.

Eligibility and background verification are still ongoing but biometric verification was marked as completed on the 8th of June, 2023.
