DystopianMuse:Terrorist group are isis, boko haram, alqaeda etc. They kill, they destroy and they derive pleasure from doing so. The word terrorism has lost it original meaning. Governments these day brand groups that oppose their view Terrorist just to justify the use of terror on them and civilians. |

🇵🇸 ⚡️🏴☠️ After its military failure in Gaza, the former head of "Aman" says: "Israel" must pay political prices. One hundred days after the aggression on Gaza, Tamir Hayman, the director of the National Security Research Institute in the occupation entity, believes that the Israeli leadership has to make one decision: either a prisoner exchange deal or a more comprehensive deal that includes a "peace process" with the Palestinian Authority, starting also from a prisoner exchange. 🚩 @ResistanceTrench |

Fash20:Failing to take a firm stance against oppression is one thing. Actively supporting a killer against your brother is another. |

The saudi's seems to be walking a tightrope. Firstly they have a lot lo lose. They have also been fighting the houthis for a while now. You also talk about the need for stability in the region. Saudi for one is building its ambitious neom city and other projects just to diversify its economy .away from oil. You also talked about the need to normalise ties (which has been put on hold for now)with isreal so it can advance isreals advance tech and also form an ally against a common adversary in iran why also keeping america as a security guarantor. All which saudi needs. So they put all this intrest above all others. The houthis also pose a threat to the saudi royals. Inpart been an offshot of muslim brotherhood. Which has morsi in power then in egypt which the saudi sponsored a coup against. So its a tightrope. . Fash20: |

◾Israeli police assaulted a protest in Tel-Aviv demanding the end of the genocide in Gaza and an immediate ceasefire. The police officers took away signs demanding the end of the genocide and tore them down and assaulted some of the protesters. ◾Follow: /UkraineHumanRightsAbuses |

Fash20:Well if you put it that way. You re right. Those Arabian royals. In as much as they do those things for the citizens (like diversifying the economy) . It's also all about their own selfish interest too. Like maintaining their grip In power . For instance in Saudi. There are two rulling houses. House of Saud and the second one (can't remember the name rn). The house of Saud is of MBS they are in charge of governing Saudi. While the second one is in charge of the religious side. Why they keep giving the Citizens massive subsidy and not tax them. You know all those arrangements to keep power. All about them |

⚡American-supplied Ukrainian M1A1SA Abrams tanks are being equipped with first-generation ARAT ERA on the sides of the hull, similar to the BRAT dynamic protection on Bradley IFVs. This will increase the protection of the Abrams from the strikes of UAVs, RPGs and ATGMs.

Vic2023:Comedy central.🤣🤣🤣🤣 American remains a top power in the middle east. Till she decides to leave. Not a top power but Saudi still want it as a security guarantor. For Iran, Hamas is being shaken in Gaza, US airstrikes smacking Houthis currently, then Israel threatening action with Hezbollah. Without this Axis of Resistance., how will Iran continue to maintain its influence with those network of proxies being dismantled. Top power Indeed.. lol |

DystopianMuse:As long as the citizens are happy they are good in that regard. But if they really want to continue being a regional power they have to demonstrate that by doing more. Also, I think they are too dependent on western powers. They want everything money can buy. I respect Iran in the sense that under heavy sanctions, Iran made progress in tech. They built everything, robots, rockets, Nuclear tech etc. |
| Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by DystopianMuse(f): 1:19pm On Jan 14, 2024 |
Fash20:But we can't also concludes the citizens are really happy, you know it's hard to protest or show dissents in such places and aslo let's assume the Oil money stop coming and the grants stops. How will the citizens react? For dependant on the West, I think not totally maybe mostly, you can see the coordinating with Russia in regards to oil prices staying high and have refused to backdown despite many pleas from Washington. Then you also have talks of joining BRICS. Also some other area of coordination with Russia and china. They even plan to develop their own civilian nuclear program, asking America for assistance which has put Washington in dilemma because if they fail to agree, Saudi might turn to Russia or China to help. You also see them wanting to normalize relationship with Israel in order to access it's tech. But regardless of how you look at it they need the West most, maybe to takeoff then start doing their own things. Like the way China did. Opening up with the help of the US to join the WTO and also it FDI. Today China not totally depending on US again. Time will tell. |

Segun2222:You should go back to sleep, your US replace Taliban with Taliban after 20 years... Just as US backed regime control Afghanistan for some times, USSR backed also control Afghanistan... USSR own was even better, they supported an Afghan government actively backed by the US, UK, France and their numerous allies... Who backed Taliban against US and it allies??. We were here in 2021 when your almighty US was running away from Taliban.. They even have to leave billions of dollars worth of ammunitions and cash.. ![]() The fear of Taliban is the beginning of wisdom.. |

⚡French cement maker Lafarge's factory in Syria has been struck by Turkish UCAV strikes. A large part of the Lafarge cement factory was destroyed after Turkish strikes. Lafarge pleaded guilty to aiding Daesh/ISIS, to pay over $777M in 2022. "Lafarge made a deal with the devil, foreign terrorists who pledged to, and in fact did, harm the United States, its people and its national security, and they did it for profit," Breon Peace, US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, told as the Justice Department announced the plea deal. Lafarge paid the terror groups from 2013 through 2014 for protection and to allow the continued operation of a cement plant in northern Syria run by Lafarge's local subsidiary, Lafarge Cement Syria (LCS). In total, nearly $6 million was sent to the two groups, according to prosecutors.
