Two days ago, the dog killed another rodent. I roasted the rodent and grilled it for my family.
Sadly, I forgot the intestines of the rodent in a nylon bag on the floor.
My dog ate the intestine and within 24 hours started passing bloody stool and died.
Is it true that dogs must not eat rodents' intestines? What could have caused its death?

Maybe the Òkété ate poison earlier

Or there's something poisonous in it's guts

I don't know how far is true but yoruba beleive is a taboo for a dog to eat the intestine.

The Okete rodents usually feed on foods that are poisonous to dogs thereby making their intestine poisonous to dogs.

The two dogs you posted are nothing close to German shepherd, they are just fine locals.... The breeder is not an honest breeder, unless he does not know Jack about dogs breed
