I replied to mk it known to you that the post was senseless

Your response was rather absurd and senseless - Iearn to respond without whirling insults. People are entitled to their opinion.

Football is a team sport. You need to select the parts to fit. My post was to buttress the point that if you don't hve the profile of players to fill a gap in th top 5 league, nothing stops you from looking elsewhere.

If Keshi didn't have the courage to take MBA (home base) and Onazi, that's how Igiebor and Ogude would have denied us the afcon that year.

Why did you ask for name in a league you don't watch? What difference will it make? Common sense is indeed not common. cool

Like who does that πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I will mention names now and will be there to trash them

Then you are asking him to do the impossible. I thought the function of Nwakali was to come and give long passes. Okay Nwakali will dictate tempo? We'll then but my point is that Iwobi did his bit
Dictating plays from midfield goes beyond playing long passes. The Deeplying midfielder should have the most touches of the ball. The game goes through him, both short and long passes. I can't remember Iwobi switching the game from left to right or from right to left. I'm not saying Iwobi is a poor player but Nwakali does these effortlessly. Is it that you guys don't watch football enough to understand what Nwakali brings?

The DLM is supposed to be an arsonist and a fire fighter. He can turn the heat up when gamestates demand it yet quell the flames others ignite.

And yes the fire fighting is done on the ball like Jorginho & off the ball like Rice.

Can you list a Nigerian midfielder you know who can do the above listed effortlessly if you exempt Nwakali?

I hear you chief and I agree with your assertions I'm just saying criticize with fairness how many many AFCONS or WcQs has he F----- up for us to be already have questioning his legacy? If he wasn't trying enough or has a history of constantly letting the team down I would understand some people's points of view but slagging of your best player to prove what?

As per legendary status Drogba didn't win a spoon for CIV but no one doubts his legend so these things happen but that is not my prayer for Osimhen. I still back him to deliver for us in the big moments.

Mujtahida:

Osimhen is good. But greatness is what some of us want for him. You see that Wcq in Abuja? You see today's match? Those are games he should have scored and his legend will grow.

He's scoring for us oo but Mba is a legend with just two goals. That's what I mean

Yekini baba himself it took time before he found his rhythm many years of below average performances in the national team before he hit his peak. Please criticize and push Osimhen to be better but easy on the demoralizing comments.

AndSunGorilla:

Baba, my premise is that far in the tournament, the striker would have gotten enough games in the tournament and should be in the zone, made mistakes early on and be more deadly later on in the tourney. Also there is a reason they call 2nd round games and onward, knockout games because any shenanigans you get punished immediately. All teams still have two more games after the first game to make amends and grow into the tournament.

But my Barrister, right now Yekini's legacy still stays intact as the National team's Goals Father!!!!! Simple, several other strikers may have had more illustrious careers in Europe than Yekini (Yakubu, Owobokiri, Ekoku, Martins, Osimhen, Ighalo, etc), but as far as SE is concerned, Yekini is still the King, Kapish!!!

the next match against civ is another defining point for osimhen, if we lose, those chances wasted today will haunt him, he should go and ask the likes of Victor Moses and Mikel how they had to dig deep within themselves to redeem themselves in 2013 against CIV in the quarter-finals. No be to carry apoty for head o, he got to deliver

He looked calm, claimed crosses well, used his legs well too.
He didn't have much to do, faced one shot all game, which he could do very little about.
So I can't really place him anywhere yet.

his performance in the UCL paved way for him to the super eagles team for the afcon. He didn’t get into the team based on hype and stats posted here 🀣🀣🀣🀣

Antwerp is a top team in Belgium and playing in European club competitions open doors for players to better and bigger fortunes
Bro he got to the Afcon team base on injury to ndidi nothing else. If ndidi was fit, if he like make he win best player for Belgium Peseiro for no call hassan
