Why are some human beings like this. Please be honest. When he equalised was this your impression of him? Our next match will be victorious. Which is against Ivory coast.
this is our problem, the one in front you could not get it and you are talking of next match, small time they will start wishing one of the team to loose point so that Nigeria will qualify, who do una this thing! Every tournament the same mentality.

Nigeria had a good game on paper tbh but in tournaments you just have to be clinical with your chances and rack up the points esp in winnable games.

Side note: Can someone tell me why SE fans like to talk down on our opponents? And somewhat overrate our team esp when we have not won anything or done well in any tournaments recently. I think we need to learn to manage expectations at times instead of being emotional

So , China or India should be winning every world cup. Population doesn't play football
It depends on which sport they prioritise. Read my earlier post

Can't be repeating always

There are no Minnows again in African football.
Egypt just played a 2-2 draw with Mozambique who were leading them by 2-1 before Egypt equalized late into the extra time.
Eagles tried a bit, given the haphazard nature of their preparation, and injuries, before the tournament.

In their next match against Cote d'ivoire, they must just learn to be very clinical in front of goal, while coming up with tactics to cage their talented strikers.

You are more useless with your view.
Did you even read my posting?
What point do you have?

If you have a huge population, there should be at least one sport, within your region, you'd dominate. In this situation, within the African continent.
Those countries with big populations dominate in areas their populations have passion from childhood days.

I won't waste my time educating and enlightening your ignorance and primitivenesss

Don't mention me again. You can die in your ignorance if you want

The team lacked passion and hunger to win besides Osimhen who was wasteful today. Someone should tell Osimhen that he is not world class yet even though he is thirsty for glory. He. Shouldn't go to Premiership with this his one on one miss else his career will end prematurely

Nigeria Super Eagles settled for a 1-1 draw with the Elephants of Equatorial Guinea in their opening 2023 AFCON fixture, LCSoccerHub Reports.

Coming against the three-time winners of the tournament, Equatorial Guinea nearly pulled a shocker when Iban Salvador came up clutch against the Super Eagles. Receiving a pass from his teammate inside the box, Salvador easily slot home the ball from close range to give Equatorial Guinea the lead.

Nigeria responded promptly with the equaliser, thanks to Victor Osimhen’s header. Positioning near the backpost, Victor Osimhen jumped on Ademola Lookman’s cross to head home the equaliser.
