"Tinubu Needs Our Prayers", Senator Ekwunife Tells Church by Naijadaily: 3:43pm On Jan 15
The Director General South East Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife has called on all Christians and Nigerians alike to pray for President Tinubu and his administration.

The 9th Senate Lawmaker urged them to put away their sectional, political and religious sentiments and put the national interest first by supporting President Tinubu.

Ekwunife said this on Sunday at Joseph's Catholic Church Nri, in Njikoka local government area of Anambra state where she procured and handed over a multi-million naira 14-seater vehicle to the Catholic Women Organization.

Senator Ekwunife while presenting the gift urged the congregation, as well as Christians all over Nigeria to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders managing various institutions of government, noting that once our leaders get it right, the citizenry would be better for it.

Ekwunife reiterated her commitment to continue supporting the church, noting that the role of churches as the community of Christians in peaceful coexistence and good governance cannot be overemphasized.

She informed the congregation that though the bus has been donated to the CWO, it could equally be used for other important activities of the church to ensure optimal utilization.

“Society becomes more habitable when people make sacrifices. Thus far I have been consistent in playing my part. Today, I urge you to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), and other leaders of notable public institutions. Praying for our leaders is critical to ensuring a more fraternal coexistence, economic stability and rapid development.

“Just like the Bible says, it is our obligation to put our leaders in prayer, and this explains why I’m urging the Church to pray for Mr President, knowing that once he gets it right in the provision of sectoral needs, requests and expectations, Nigeria will get better.

"So far, he has not disappointed the electorates because his decisions from inception focuses on the Renewed Hope Agenda for which he campaigned and was elected president.

The donation according to the 9th Senate Lawmaker is in fulfillment of a pledge that she made shortly after the 2023 general elections, to lessen the mobility constraints of the church in spreading the gospel and winning souls for the Most High God.

Receiving the new 14-Seater operational vehicle President of the CWO Mrs. Ezinne Anthonia expressed that the kind gesture explains why Senator Uche Ekwunife is different from contemporary politicians whose relationship with the society is exclusively tied to political advantage.

Reverend Father Prof Clement Ezeka who Presided over the mass specifically preached on the need to support leaders at various levels, especially those who have demonstrated total commitment towards good governance like Senator Uche Ekwunife.

"January is like this, who knows what will happen in March with Senator Uche Ekwunife’s unflinching support. On behalf of the parish, St Joseph’s Catholic Church Nri, I wish to appreciate Senator Uche Ekwunife for this show of magnanimity and generosity to the Church and the Catholic faithful at large.

“Senator, we will continue to pray for you, your business and political ambition. I also wish to congratulate the direct beneficiary Ezinne Anthonia Onuorah who is new as CWO President, yet was lucky enough to take delivery of this magnificent, brand new bus on behalf of the Church”, the Cleric said.

Thereafter, the parish priest blessed the vehicle in line with the Church tradition.

shocked

Let him tell Akpabio to transfer prayer to her mail box

I just pity Atiku, majority of those that supported him in 2023 election has left him for Tinubu, this is what happens when you gather people without any ideology outside their selfish interest to sing praises for you.

Uche Ekwunife is now in APC
Bwala is now singing praises for Tinubu.
Reno Omokri has abandoned him and start praising Tinubu

Poor Atiku.

Foolish and stupid talk. No prayer is more powerful than what Tinubu has set in his heart to do!

These people use religion to get away with incompetence and their many evil deeds

Instead of them to do the needful they will asked us to pray for Nigeria. Politicians and appointed men in the political office don't pity us what they car for is to abuse their office through laundry. Nigerians has lost his glory we just hope for better future which I doubt because of careless attitude of our political leaders..

I have been shouting it. I just hope people will listen.

Not just Tinubu but all leaders in Nigeria, governors, councillors etc.

Since good men are refusing to govern or are not allowed to rule, let us pray for God to convict the heart of our leaders.

Prov.21.1 - The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.

Repent of your sins. Don't say you weren't told.

God loves you.
