How many trades do you backtest before you are confident in a strategy.
I am specifically interested in scalpers but i can take answers from other types of traders.

Having a poor night sleep will affect your trading performance.

You want to be sharp and focused during active trading sessions.

I didn't even check the condition of 5%ers prop as per leverage before jumping in for their 1$ bootcamp challenge.
That's totally rubbish. Coming, just 1:10 leverage, you can't trade mini lot on gold and indices, you can't use high lot and sl. You will likely violate something,man. Then only on mt5. and you have to pass phase 1, phase 2, phase 3, with the same conditions, before funded.
I just have to use momentum, orderflow and engulfing pattern method on 12H chart, with tight SL, 0.11lot and let it ride smoothly any pair I analyse while adjusting my sl. I have been ranging between 20 to 150 dollars since I have started. Hopefully will get my first target of 300 dollars this week. I just don't want to abandon it. How are you people trading that.

The sl was voided by less than a basis point, had to adjust and reentered the trade with the next available sl valid zone. Also saw a reentry on the retest point on m5 timeframe. 2nd Sl area/zone is denoted with green.

I use weekly tf and daily for confirmation,den 1hr for entering and I close my position(s) every Friday by 9pm either profit or loss



As I result of this,I may not get more than 3 positions in a week
