The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has dismissed speculations suggesting that the wanted terrorist kingpin, Turji Bello, has become a member of the Nigeria Police.

Adejobi refuted the insinuations in a brief statement posted on his account on the X platform on Wednesday. His response came after a netizen with the username @OnyiPathfinder alleged that the terrorist had joined the Police Force. The netizen, posting a picture of Turji Bello in what appeared to be a Police uniform, challenged Adejobi to clarify the status of the wanted terrorist.

In reply, Adejobi stated, “Turji has never been recruited into the police. It’s a lie. This picture is not a new one.”

Turji Bello is a notorious bandit leader and terrorist operating in the northern part of Nigeria, declared wanted by security operatives.

Nonsense, people like you give room to bandit to strike, those in soldiers uniform at his back are they soldiers ? these pictures has been on internet for more than 2years, but the arm robbers decided to post it , this is exactly what happen before the ENDSAR, group of Yahoo boys sars was pursuing them decide to post a photo that doesn't exist and people decided to burn police station and today we have ENDSAR and arm robbers are raining storm.
