Jpes mistake since he took over the job was that his 442 formation

I knw that once he abandons it the team will do well. He thought playing all attacking and pretty football will mk the fans love him but it nearly cost him his job

He should build the team around osimhen as the team’s talisman, when osimhen isn’t available boniface and awo are their to take over, even boniface can be played from the flanks when need arises

Our midfield trio should be ndidi, Alhassan/Onyeka and iwobi

Back four should be osayi,ekong,ajayi/bassey and aina

He shouldn’t be tempted to accommodate all our attackers at once, it leaves the middle and defense porous which hv made the team concede loads of goals since he took charge

With this he will create a formidable team that will easily qualify for 2026 World Cup

Zaidu did what he was told which pinned their right full back. He might not be the most technically gifted but he played his part. The insults directed towards him are quite harsh and unnecessary

Pesiro was the man of the match. He was the brain behind the penalty, that was he was smiling and winking at the PK

This was a well deserved win, IMO ..not a fluke one....

Once again, we missed some good chances...the boys need to work on that..

It's hard to pick a MOTM...Aina, Bassey, Nwabili, Osimhen,Ekong, Onyeka, even Ajayi and Iwobi were all solid...

On a lighter note....Uzoho would have thrown Fofana shot into our net....thumbs up to JPES for hearing our cry to drop that chap....he was a calamity waiting to explode.

The end of Uzoho and the beginning of Nwabili

Peseiro should consider resting Osimhen for the next game...or not allow him play this long ..
We are going to beat Guinea Bissau, and it would be safer to rest Osimhen, least his injury woes catch up with him before the knockout stage

The man was determined to lock shop after the goal .lol.

When I saw Osayi coming on, I thought he wanted to play 4 CB..but Osayi was moved upfront, tasked to defend the flank...
