Shame on the players, see how happy they are over a penalty win......if not for the PK, it means they wouldn't even be able to score a single goal🙄

How many penalties did Messi score in the last world cup?!!! grin Penalty is a part of the game. Infact, this particular one showed that Osimhen is a very intelligent player. He knows that by staying down, attention will be drawn to the foul committed via VAR and a penalty will be awarded. That is an intelligent player. Some other players wouldn't even know the gravity of the foul. Winning is all that matters. And we have won. Be grateful be happy. What about the Ivorians?! Wouldn't they be happy if the won with a penalty?!

May our endeavors in life be lace with ease.

I swear ola aina was superb, I've always known him to be a great players, man of the match no doubt. Bassey was also great, and ekong too. The defence was the best part of the team

Osihmen smart o. He deliberately stayed down so that VAR can pick up the incident and award a penalty.

Now finish it off!
that's simply experience. Experience won us the match

I totally get you. Games are won by little margins. We might not have been lucky if we played a different team. They need to get more clinical in front of goal if the aim is the trophy.
Not an easy feat defeating the home side so I give them kudos for that.

If you're talking why not win without penalty...you must know better than the inventors of the game who introduced penalty to the game and penalty has been reinforced by FIFa even with the introduction of VAR...so oga wetin be your problem sef cheesy

Think whatever you like...

Say whatever you like....

We have seen the two teams played their first game and from the two matches...

I can comfortably predict Super Eagles to win that game.

Despite huge support of home fans, and as the host Country..Ivory Coast, yes, won..they were not convincing against Guinea Bissau.

Super Eagles got a draw against Equitorial Guinea, thanks to EQG Goalie and somewhat not so good day for our strikers.

I don't see Ivory Coast defence stopping Eagles attack.
your analysis was top-notch

As it stands now, making it out of the group stage is not guaranteed for the host (CIV). Equatorial Guinea will surely give them a good run. It's a must watch match.
