Nigeria beat Ivory Coast in 1994, and went on to win that AFCON.

Nigeria beat Ivory Coast in 2013, and went on to win that AFCON.

Nigeria has just beaten Ivory Coast in AFCON 2023 πŸ€”

Perhaps, …….. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜„

Nigeria wins.

I humbly take back my words, saying Cote divoire will beat them blue black!

Yet, my analysis:

Nigeria is finding it hard scoring goals in every match. Hardly do we score even upto 2 goals from creative play. This has been on for over 5years now. We don't score convincing goals from build up.

Secondly, our players are wasteful up front. This match should be nothing short of 3 goals for Nigeria. Obvious, our strikers, except Osimhen and Moses Simon, are selfish with the ball.

The defence was clinical and compact!
I give it to them.

I hope for more improvement in the last game.

Osimehen is no we're near Haaland or Mbappe.

If you sabi, oyibo go rate you high.
He is a good striker but not up to Mbappe standards.
Your father is nothing compared to the likes of Dangote, President of Russia, not even Buhari. But in the defence of your father...everyone has potentials, just circumstances and fate are different for each persons. grin grin grin

The defense was rock solid, now if the boys in attack can stop being stupid we could go all the way.

Playing against a side that put us on the backfoot actually forced a play style out of this team.

We have a really solid defence which is good to see. Zaidu is really not a Super Eagles quality player. Bassey should start at 3 from now on.
move aina to left back osayi Samuel to right back simple

African football is progressing. The era of dangerous tackles and kicks is over. Players are now more cautious with d ball like their European counterparts.

Aina and Ajayi really showed they're playing in elite leagues today. Their positioning is top notch. Kudos
