Relax Nwoke. They just need $60bln more. Usually the person winning the war goes around begging for more help.

I don't think u understand my post. I'm talking about the transfer of one the best precision missile tech in EU to Kiev has been rejected by the German parliament but you're talking about financial aid to Ukraine.
Do you really think Ukraine is winning?

All I got from this Sadiq Umar explanation is that the Nigeria doctors were incompetent and gave me a wrong diagnosis.

They did him dirty and is quite sad because Sadiq Umar is one player I like. Maybe some powerful person don't want him in that team and was only waiting for an opportunity.

The guy really wanted to play. It was the back of the knee that was a bit swollen and he told the medical team he is fine. That he has witnessed something like this before that in the next 24 hours or so everything will be ok but those guys have different ideas.

I like the way Real Sociedad responded to all that. Sadiq Umar landed in Spain on Sunday, was pictured on Monday having intense training and came in as a substitute in their Copa Del Rey round of 16 match against Osasuna.

From the screenshot it clearly shows it was a case of misdiagnosis on the part of the Nigerian doctors . I don’t think there’s any conspiracy against him .

The Nigerian doctors obviously misdiagnosed him and the national team coach replaced Sadiq while relying on the Nigerian doctor’s medical advice .

Why couldn't the medical team organize a scan and get a more detailed diagnosis within 24-48 hrs. It is possible that someone wanted their own guy to come in and was looking for an opportunity.

Me I see it as more of incompetency on the part of the medical team than being a conspiracy sha .

No be today dem dey misdiagnose person for this country

But this is something that you confirm relatively easily by ordering a scan. Clinical diagnosis is notoriously unreliable for diagnosing musculoskeletal injuries especially in the knee. In a high-profile case like this where the sporting goal of a whole nation is involved, the reasonable thing is to scan the leg especially since the player is claiming to be okay.

This is not the case of an okada driver being misdiagnosed after falling into a gutter. This is a million-dollar athlete representing his country and they could not scan his knee to get more information. It is either someone wanted his slot OR the FA are too cheapskate to spend 50k-100k naira to scan the knee.

Do u consider the possibility that the doctors might not be the best at their jobs ?

Only if you tell me that they are not aware that MRI scans exist. If they are doctors that time travelled in from the 19th century.

The reason why I’m not buying the conspiracy angle is whoever didn’t want him in the team could’ve played their card from inception to influence the coach from inviting him in the first place .

I mean why wait till he had an injury scare on the eve of the mundial before making a move to have him replaced ?

For all we know players like Ahmed Musa appear to be filling political/NFF slot in the team list cos he’s not done anything spectacular at club level in recent times to make him qualify for an invite .

A conspiracy is a conspiracy.

Na you dey find the right time for it.

The person who wanted him out, wanted him out, and that was his own plan.

We will possibly never get a definitive answer but there are only two logical reasons for not getting imaging for a second evaluation before sending him away; they didn’t want to pay for it or someone was looking for an excuse to push their own guy in through the back door.
