The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) was established in 2010 by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Production Supervisor
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

Supervises field staff that maintains and services oil and gas production facilities.
Oversees testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities and other equipment.
Responsible for the safety of staff and production facilities.
Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning. monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating. coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Monitors and controls all oil and gas production and utility systems to ensure that production targets are achieved.
Work closely with other offshore supervisors and liaise with vendors, contractors, onshore support teams and specialist companies.
Qualifications

B.Sc in Degree in a Core Engineering discipline (Petroleum, Production, Electrical or instrumentation) with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
A Master’s Degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
8 years experience or more required.

2.) Cargo Pump Specialist
Location: Lagos

Oversees testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities and other equipment
Responsible for the safety of staff and production facilities.
Performs a variety of skilled, joumay-level duties involved in the inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, mpair and servicing of oil distribution and waste collection equipment, components, facilities and machinery, such as pipes, tubes, rods seals, shafts, stuffing boxes, gears, motors, bearings
Provides design, review and technical support during all phases of capital projects
Prevides construction, final equipment checkout and approval
Primary Responsibilities: Operate and maintain power pumps auxiliary equipment used to pump oil.
Secondary Tasks: Using tools and their mechanical skills, pumpers
Perform maintenance and repairs on the pumps and pipe sections and on gas and oil meters and gauges
Supervision and Safety: Controls the main cargo pumps and stripping pumps used in discharging cargo from the vessel
Specialised monitoring systems in the cargo control room.
Pipeline, Offshore, Onshom, Synthetic Crude, Liquid Natural Gas, Oil & Gas, Pump Division, Product and industry cargo pump specialists develop effective cargo stripper pumps for loading and unloading and speciality pumps to accomplish the tasks.
Qualifications

Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or similar educational qualideation in a relevant branch of engineering, electrical, mechanical, or engineering science from a recognised institution and must be a chartered engineer with a minimum of 7 years relevant working experience.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Supervises a group of primarily para- professional level staft.
May also be a level above a supervisor within a high-volume administrative/ production environment
Makes day-to-day decisions within er for s group/small department
Hat some authority forpersonnel actions.
Must have thorough knowledge of department pricesses

3.) Marine Supervisor

Qualifications

B.Sc. Nautical Science with a minimum of Class 2 Certificate of Competency as Master Mariner (Unlimited tonnage, foreign going with Crude Liquid Petroleum) with 10 years experience of crude tanker with at least five years as a Chief Officer or similar experience on an FPSO Dangerous Liquids Handling Certificate.
Must have strong leadership, influence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

May be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed.
Perform training to ensure individuals have all the requisite skills. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance procedures and maintaining personnel records.
Supervise and evaluate each worker’s performance to ensure quality operations. Investigate accidents and prepare relevant reports.
Qualifications

Interested candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or similar educational qualification in a relevant branch of engineering or engineering science from a recognized institution and must be a chartered engineer with a minimum of 8 years relevant working experience.
Certification from International Maintenance Institute (IMI), which verifies a professional’s knowledge, skill, and experience.

Must be able to show a proven track record offshore as a maintenance lead supervisor or superintendent.

Must have leadership experience and man management skills, qualified to stand in for OIM.
Must have previously worked offshore with a current understanding of the law.

There are many agencies that is better than Army if truly your connect is Presidency, why not try NNPC, NUPRC, NIA, NCC etc..

2. Tagging people scammers
3. Competition: some feel revealing info such as replacements hampers their chances in such agencies.
4. Some greed: They want to get info but are not willing to share.
5. BUREAUCRACY OF GOVERNMENT- changes in information. what they want to do tomorrow might change at any time. that does not mean info the person is passing is false.

I agree with almost everything except number 2. Scammers should be tagged scammers to prevent others from falling into same pit. Someone once contact me here with information about one guy that scammed him. No job, no refund. He kept giving different days.

And he comes here to give information he probably gathered on Facebook. When I searched his moniker, lots have called him out on Nairaland on various threads too.

If we can't help people, don't let us be their source of unhappiness.

Information may not be flowing like before for now because it's a new government and many heads of organization are just settling down. Soon, it will change again.

May all who are finding jobs get their desired jobs this year.
