Unless you have family members here who are citizens and can file for you, you'll never step foot in canada. Legally any way.

Get a letter of invitation from a relative there and get your personal source of fund (minimum 20k USD

You guys should not turn visa applications to something extraordinary.

Hotel reservation and simple explanation of what you intend to do in the country would suffice for most countries with other general requirements.

How many folks abroad will send you letter of invitation that is not orginated from oluwole?[/quot

Letter of invitation with ID card of the contact is already enough and your proof of fund. let them run their check up

Hi guys, I am asking on behalf of my friend who is not sure if he should declare that he overstayed his visa in Namibia. This was about 5 years ago when he visited there once. It was the only place he ever traveled to. Now he has a new passport which doesn't mention that he ever had an old passport. Can he leave his overstay in Namibia out?

I know you're asking for yourself, but anyway, don't declare it because it will limit your chances.

Her SOWP was refused on financial ground.

I have not applied for visit Visa. I changed my mind, I want to apply SOWP for her again.

A friends MIL was approved in about a month and she had no prior travel experience. I think they also hasten up the application for elderly people (just assuming I don’t work for IRCC 😂)

That was my believe before we applied for her.

Close friends had their applications approved within a month and 3 weeks.

E reach out turn, IRCC lock up. Lolz!

It’s been 3months now.

Hello Guys,
Please can one submit a new passport different from the one you applied it.
I applied with a passport with 4 years validity and got PPR.
Before i submit passport for visa stamping, i will like to quickly go do another new passport that will be 10years.
When I submit this new 10years passport Will the visa carry this 10years validity or not?

It will simply Carry the validity of your biometrics. That is, if you get a new 10 years Passport, ur visa will carry the validity of your biometrics, since it will obviously be less than 10 years. They simply pick the lowest validity btw the passport and biometrics at any point in time.
The visa gurus in d house knows better and can confirm this.

Length (Years) on your biometric determine the Visa you will be giving. Remember biometric is only valid for 10years starting from the day you did it..

Meaning if your biometric remains 2 years to expire and you deliberately submit 10 years passport, you will still be giving 2years Visa..

Good morning guys, please I need your help I got a request letter from IRCC to pay $85 for biometrics. And have the receipt submitted within 7days. I have done biometrics, which was in 2020 during my PR application that was refused in 2022. do I need to pay for a new biometric or just submit the old biometrics receipt?

Which passport office will renew your passport when you still have 4yrs validity on the old one?

Meanwhile who told you it's certain IRCC will issue you 10yrs visa even though your biometric and passport are valid for 10yrs?

IRCC are unpredictable.... I know someone that was issue 6months and the other person 2 years, when both of their passport are valid for 5yrs, biometric 10yrs.

1. You have a limited time to submit your passport, what’s the guarantee that your new passport would come out within that time? Also, four years is a long time, I doubt the passport office would be willing to renew unless you’ve maxed out all the pages.

2. Your approved visa information should be on your tracker under (document status), and your visa expiry date would be there already. I doubt getting another passport would make any difference.

You are right that the IRCC is unpredictable, and I read the story of the guy who claimed he was given a 6-month visa even though his passport and biometrics on file with the IRCC are both of longer validity.

That case was exceptional because most people whose applications were successful were given up to the validity of the biometric on file or the expiration of the passport.

Let this young man go ahead and apply for the 10-year passport if he is sure that he can get the passport renewed within the IRCC passport submission deadline.

Hi team, I applied for a Canadian tourist visa last year. I disclosed other countries I’ve visited but I hadn’t been to the US yet even though I had the visa. I’m now in US for a week. Will it be necessary to send a webform stating I’ve visited US with the hope of fastracking the visa process lol or it’s not necessary.

I would have said no gree for them since you have the old receipt, but still better if you can forgo and pay for another biometric as sent to you. They have records of it so for them sending for a new means something. So do it

You should not pay for another biometrics, your biometrics is valid for 10years. I hope you answered all the questions correctly in your application because the immigration system should automatically match your details with the database and update the record so you should not get a new biometrics request. Just upload the receipt of the first application and you should be fine.

Raise a webform to this effect by sending(upload) the old biometrics receipt to
IRCC using

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

and mail to nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca.

This happened to my dad. All I did was submit proof of payment and uploaded it via webform and this rectified the issue. I will advise you do the same. Cheers!
