I selected 'Employment' because this visa is for work. Your employer may also ask you for the PCC.

Thank you very much I appreciate your response.

-It means you applied for the wrong visa (Health and care worker), instead of Skilled worker visa. And on the 13th of December, they offered you a chance to withdraw your application and maybe apply for the correct one, then pay the correct fee and also the IHS fee, but you didn't take the offer. So they made a decision based on your wrong application and the information provided by your sponsor. I'm assuming your employer/sponsor didn't state on your COS that you're being employed to work in Health or social care sector.

-Note: Skilled Worker visa attracts different visa fee than the Health and care visa. Also Skilled worker visa applications attracts the mandatory IHS fees unlike the Health and care visa.

-I hope that explains it for you. I think you need to reapply, then pay the actual visa fee and the IHS, if your employment is still valid.

Either the ECO is on some cheap drugs... Or ur employer ddnt justify ur employment well when he was contacted.....because the eco mentioned u refusal was laso based on what they got from ur employer

I heard someone was denied because of care certificate...it's clear this route don cast... As it is now...if it's not NHS or PUBA and the likes, that gave u job like Goodly1 ....ur application must be really air tight to scale through with all these fvnny employers

Immigration Rules Appendix Skilled Worker

The Skilled Worker route is for employers to recruit people to work in the UK, including in UK waters, in a specific job. A Skilled Worker must have a job offer in an eligible skilled occupation from a Home Office-approved sponsor.

A dependent partner and dependent children can apply on this route.

Skilled Worker is a route to settlement.

Validity requirements for a Skilled Worker
,
Hide
SW 1.1. A person applying for entry clearance or permission to stay as a Skilled Worker must apply online on the gov.uk website on the specified form as follows:
(a) for applicants outside the UK, form “Skilled Worker visa”; or
(b) for applicants inside the UK, form “Skilled Worker”.
SW 1.2. An application for entry clearance or permission to stay as a Skilled Worker must meet all the following requirements:
(a) any fee and Immigration Health Charge must have been paid; and
(b) the applicant must have provided any required biometrics; and
(c) the applicant must have provided a passport or other travel document which satisfactorily establishes their identity and nationality; and
(d) the applicant must have a certificate of sponsorship that was issued to them by their sponsor no more than 3 months before the date of application.

You had 2 issues clearly stated in your refusal.
1. You didn't qualify for a health and care worker visa
2. You applied using the wrong visa route. Skilled worker visa instead of health and care skilled worker visa, the skilled worker visa you must pay IHS

Hello everyone, please what are the documents required to apply for dependant visa? For someone already in the UK on skilled worker visa and trying to bring their family. Also do they need to show proof of address (UK) and what document is acceptable.
Thank you

He got a care job which is under the health and care route....so which visa is he supposed to apply for ?? The ECO is just on refusal mission.. saying he should apply for skilled work Visa is just story becos he didn't get a job in the category of ordinary skilled work visa

UKVI has already given you the explanation you need but, if you need our input, we may need to have a look at your CoS. I'm guessing there might have been a mistake on it (made by your employer) or in your application generally, which you failed to notice and correct when DMC emailed you/your employer.

It's also possible that your employer is licensed for SW sponsorship but not HCW sponsorship, because I can see the paragraph, in your refusal letter, that mentions something about your employer's sponsorship licence. Perhaps your employer can only sponsor applicants for SW visa only. Hence, you weren't eligible to apply for the HCW Visa.
You can shade off your personal details before uploading your CoS here.

Please what is the current cost of applying for Visa. My wife is already in the UK and working as a Paramedic. I and my daughter hope to join her soon but I don't really know the recent cost now. That gov.uk is confusing with too many information. I heard that some certain medical jobs cost less to apply for their family to come in. Is this true.

Thanks in anticipation hearing from experience minds

She can still bring the child in after spring as those already on the route before the policy comes into effect are not affected

Good morning my people, please I have a question, I'm done with all my documentation and my COS was billed to come out last week Thursday but they asked me to provide reference for a hospital that was in my CV which I removed when I was updating my CV to capture my CBT and IELTS, this was done following the advise of the person guiding me on my relocation process from NHS. When their superior sent me an email to explain why the hospital was removed from the updated CV, I explained to him that it wasn't supposed to be their because I worked in the hospital as a volunteer when I was nursing my mum sickness. Finally the sent me another email that I must get reference from the hospital.

When my school and the last hospital I worked before resigning sent their reference, I was told to fill employment gap to show what I was doing for the past 1year that left gap in my CV which I explained to them and pointed out to the hospital in my CV, they asked me to get reference from them which I did. So far so good I have given them 3 references. But my anger now is that the hospital were I did volunteer service doesn't have domain name, according to the MD, the domain name will be ready soon. But will they reject the HR personal email address I shared with them yesterday? Please am confused. My deployment date is supposed to be 27th February. Will this delay affect my deployment date?
