You can only live in peace when follow God's law, a kidnappers was once killed by law in Afghanistan and it took 15 years for another kidnapping to happened, when two hands are chopped it will take two decades for next incidence

They tend to take the side of the culprit and treat them like victims. It's gross, same with Amnesty International. Capital offences deserve capital punishment epically where it is proven that the offence was not committed in error. That it was premeditated.

Their NGOs provide legal assistance and medical support to captured Boko Haram terrorists.

They are mad....
When people kill out of greed, criminal mind and with ulterior motives, they should be killed too....
People like kidnappers, cultists, one chance robbers, jealous lovers etc who take lives without remorse should have the death sentence waiting for them once they are proven to be guilty of murders....
No pronouncing the death penalty for such heinous crimes will only encourage people to commit crimes all the more... After all, even if they kill, they won't be killed for it

Na only for weak African countries UN dey get power. UN should come back to revisit this topic by the time they finish forcing Saudi and China to abolish the death penalty. You no expect us to spare somebody when don commit mass homicide. Make Dem keep their woke cultures for their country.

Which kind of rough play is this?

We are even so vexed now more than before with the mindless and heinous crimes being committed these days with not visible commensurate punishment.

We need a strong deterrence and only the return of firing squads will "cool our temper".

The masses may resort to public lynching on an industrial scale of apprehended criminals if the government succumbs to such counsel.

The UN should channel this advice to Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Some states in USA and others

UN should stop drinking water on our behalf please.
Seconded

Have you ever thought of how many innocent men have been killed in the name of justice?
How about the countries that eliminated the death penalty, is Nigeria safer than them?
Has the death penalty made you any more safe?

We not ending any thing. Laws arise according to the needs of it's unique environment.

You can.t sit in ur first world comfort and demand what you don't understand. Come live with us here at iyana ipaja and see what men do to their fellow men and see what police are incapable of doing then draw conclusion. It called participant observation. believe.

Life imprisonment is more better than the death sentence.

Don't talk like that, I know it hurts but death is too harsh for human. Life imprisonment with hard labour much more better.
